Facebook Contest App Help

I need to run a Facebook contest for my client. A high end clothing line, who selling wedding clothes only. They need a campaign to start next week, they have agreed to offer coupons to contest winners. I need some ideas on how to organize this and what apps or companies are recommended. Also, I want to promote this contest via facebook ads (to get more mileage). I am thinking sponsored ads ...

    Personally I like using Shortstack.com for apps to run contests. I found there was a bit of a learning curve in setting them up but there are many options so you can configure the contest the way you want. i.e. do you want to fangate the contest, where the page has to be liked first. Also, you can manage integrations through them if say you wanted to add contest entries to your email list.

    For promotion of the contest I've used sponsored ads in the news feed and that's worked well. You need to get the targetting right for this.

    Also, through the shortstack app you can configure it so that when someone enters the contest they ahve the option to earn more entries if they shre the contest with their friends through their news feed.

    Do check out WordPress Facebook Like Redirect Plugin . You can use this plugin on Wordpress and run contest likes first 10 people to like by post will get X stuff. You can use this to give away discount coupons or any thing under the sun. And there will also a scarcity factor since only the first 10 or 100 people you specify will get the coupon.

    And this will also give a lost of boost to your campaign on the social front because of the likes which you will be getting

        You can try PromoSimple (full disclosure, I work there) - to run promotions on FB, WP sites or anywhere else. There's also a giveaways network that you opt into for additional, free exposure for the campaign in addition to your FB ads.
