Can you sell sponsored posts on your Facebook page?

Is it possible to sell sponsored posts on your Facebook page, similar to how you would on a blog?

That could be a quick way to monetize the page without the hassle of posting affiliate links.

Who would know it's a sponsored post unless you labeled it as such?

Yes you can and yes people do. But you need to have lots of followers and high engagement.

What do you think they mean?

I'm assuming third party refers to links to affiliate sites. Though it might also refer to posts sold to third party sites.

Though that doesn't forbid a page owner from advertising their own posts/sites on the page.

On one hand, Facebook discourages third party advertising, but in another part of their TOS, they specifically say all ads and commercial content must conform to advertising guidelines.

Ads and commercial content (including Page post content) are subject to the Advertising Guidelines.

  Please link to the section in Facebooks TOS that states that you cant do this? If you cant do that the why did you even bother to answer?
  
  The only thing that Facebook says in there TOS is this:
  
  "You will not use your personal timeline for your own commercial gain (such as selling your status update to an advertiser)."
  
  Notice they state your 'personal timeline' in this rule. They say nothing about a fan page. Fanpages are exempt from the commercial gain rules because Fanpages are designed for commercial use.

Don't be afraid of that. They would never know that it is sponsored and stuff, everything has got similar rules, that doesn't mean that one is going to follow all of them

I think this is against the TOS of Facebook, though you can succeed with it early on....but you could be in the radar when things start getting bigger.

I don't know about Facebook TOS on this but I know that It can be done and well show as any of your normal posts, there is a lot of site offer sponsored Facebook posts.
