Monetize My 200k Facebook Page

Hey,

Looking for the best way to monetizse my Facebook Page.

To give you a brief overview:
Australian Traffic
192,473 likes · 133,391 talking about this RIGHT NOW
100,000 Likes in 4 Days

Most Popular Post - 1,290,240 Total Reach

It's about a Public Figure.

Currently My Options Are:

1. Start a Website/Blog and upload Videos relating to my niche and throw up Adsense

2. Make 1/10 Posts my Clickbank Product which discusses how to Grow Facebook Pages and Make Money (So I'd Post "Want To Know How This Page Got So Popular, Head Over To.... and Find Out How I Made This Page Grow So Quickly"

3. CPA Network

4. Sell It Outright

5. Make Status Updates for People for a Cost

Looking for some advice on the most effective way to generate some money out of it.

Before I start getting messages, no I will not go into a partnership with you and split the revenue. I am looking for Advice.

Thanks

You could sell at face value? Depends on the ultimate goal

Well i guess then what I'm really asking is if I sold it now how much would I get for it, as opose to holding it and generating that same amount.

How long would it take for me to generate what it's currently valued at? And what would be the best way to generate that?

I would personally do options 1-3, at least give it a try, you may end up earning more money over time rather than selling it. If you can provide proof that you can generate income from your page you could sell the page for a much higher amount. If you know how much income you generate per month from your page, you could sell it based on your projected income for a 12 month period.

I would take advantage of all the viral traffic you have going and keep posting content to build it up. You can throw in an ad or two to help you make money now, but 100k fans in 4 days is impressive and a Page with 1,000,000 Likes is worth a lot more than 200k

Yeah I can bring it to 225-250k likes If I keep up the quality content posting.

I think I would be willing to sell the site outright as someone could easily make more money out of it because I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to it.

Otherwise just link it to my clickbank product every now and again.

So basically you are asking people to help you out monetize your page but turn your back on them with a partnership in the next sentence. You kind of want the bread and butter here.

You said you got 100k likes in 4 days. If I were you I would keep building likes until I reach at least 250k likes and then monetize your page. Oh, and I would never sell a facebook page .. Think about it, you can reach hundred of thousand for FREE on a specific niche every single day. To me that is PRICELESS.

      Good luck

You could try something like MyLikes. My page has 27,000 likes and I get about $60 per month, if you have 10 times that amount of fans maybe you will get 10 times the income from MyLikes? Helps pay for advertising costs etc.

I don't mean to be or sound arrogant, but I know what members are like on some forums, and everybody wants a chunk of the pie, it's just business nothing wrong with it. I appreciate your input though, I don't think I will sell it unless the price was says $3,000 (Not even sure if that's over or underpriced but if that was offered I'd probably pass it on.)

Thanks for your offer but not interested in something like this. I could just setup a gig through fiverr.

Sounds very interesting, but I feel posting my clickbank product would yield at lease 1 sale per status and that in itself is $37.

Thanks for the info so far everyone, unless someone is willing to offer 3k+ (which as I said before might be a lot or not enough) then I'll probably just keep growing it and monetize once it hits around 210-220k.

I would do 1, 5, build a list, and find stuff to promote that are related and relevant to the celebrity and/or niche that celebrity represents.

If you're page isn't producing any revenue, it doesn't really have much value. It won't have any respectable value until you can prove that it can make money day in and day out. Then you can base your selling price on projected revenue. But you're also technically not allowed to sell fan pages anyway. Not worth risking losing your account - especially if you used your personal account to build the page.

My advice would be to start monetizing it now and keep looking for new ways to expand on the monetization.

If all you're making is $60 per month with 27,000 likes, you're either doing something MAJORLY wrong or you're in a niche that isn't monetizable - which I find hard to believe.

    I don't remember the numbers exactly, but when I had 27,000 likes I was making AT LEAST $125 - $150 a day.

In fact, one of my recent consulting clients had a page at 15K likes and was making no money when he reached out to me. Fast forward 10 days and he's been making $100 per day since our initial consult. Oh and his page now has 23K+ likes and gets about 75 optins per day.

But then again, neither one of us built our pages with "MyLikes". Never heard of that but sounds like some spammy like exchange that provides little to no value - no offense.

I agree with the 2nd part about never selling it and how it's priceless to be able to reach as many people as you can for free, but why wait until you get another bunch of likes to monetize the page?

MONETIZE IT NOW. Every minute that goes by you're not monetizing your page, you're losing money.

    I think I'll go for number 1.

Thanks for the advice, also is it wise to create pages off this page and get people trying to like them? Or monetize first?

Focus on monetizing what you have first before you spin off any other pages.

You may have a gold mine and if that's the case all of your focus should be on squeezing as much $$ out of it as possible and within reason.

If you have Wordpress, you should own Click Jacker or Affiliate Assassin. From there, you may be posting the latest news about that public figure, with your own pop-up CPA ad. But make sure that the offer you choose for the pop-up allows PPV/CPV traffic.

adsense dosnt like pages that are all youtube videos....you need content....and if its about a public figure, you probably wont have too many targeted ads....then again, i dont really see what you're going to market on a page thats all about a public figure. You might make some money...and yeah mylikes will make you some quick cash.. but to really make money from a FB page you need to be marketing things that relate to what your page is about or else its just going to be hit and miss.

i mean how many people walk into a pizza store and buy car insurance? lol

    What's your need?

Do you want to generate a quick profit, then probably selling this for a deal would be the most appealing to you...

If you want to keep it, then creating a blog and building it further into something massive would be more beneficial

You want short or long gains?

I'd also consider surveying my fans and get to find about their real wants... I don't think your audience (public figure?) is interested in making $ with FB...

    What do you think?

      Thanks everyone.

Managed to strike a deal with the official company the presenter works with and I'll be working with their social media team to help them use the traffic from the page to reach their target audience.

Fyi: The page has 260,000 or so likes now, and the most recent post reached 760,000 people.

I've continued to post quality information and videos.

    Hello,

My advice is option number 1.

You can use vidmy.com to create a video website easily and quickly, then curate videos from Youtube and Vimeo. Put your ads. Then share these videos on your Facebook page. This will drive traffic to your website and you will generate money from ads.

A page with 250K generates ~$120 per day.

    I hope this can help.
    Thanks
