Social Media rankings..

In the last decade or so, Social media sites like myspace, msn groups, friendster have made an impact before they declined, nowadays you have facebook, twitter and instagram which are all doing strong.

If you were going to rank the all time top 5 social media sites (in order), how would you list it?

My all time top 5:

1. facebook
2. twitter
3. msn groups
4. instagram
5. myspace

    My top 5 would have to be:

    1. Facebook
    2. Twitter
    3. MySpace
    4. Google+
    5.YouTube

    Friendster, hi5, and other social networking sites declined because something better came but I don't see any site yet that has the potential to outrank Facebook. Facebook will dominate the web for a long time.

      Honestly I don't really like Google+... By the way lately I read about statistics and facts about Facebook marketing, that Ninety-two percent of businesses and over 82 percent of ad agencies use Facebook as a marketing tactic. According to what it says there, their ranking would be Facebook - YouTube - Twitter - Google+ - LinkedIn/Pinterest.

    Facebook will always be number 1 for a very long time. Friendster, Hi5, Myspace, and all othr social networking sites declined because something better came. Today, I don't see any site yet that has the potential to outrank Facebook soon.

    It really depends on your niche and customer base. But will give facebook some advantage in any case, google + is nice seo visibility and twitter is right there in the top 3.

    Pinterest inst bad either.

      I believe the first two of my list are must have, and the rest depends on the niche and other relevant factors.
