Lot's of people think that everything is done if they buy a huge amount of likes.
But they shouldn't waste their time or money on such ineffective things. A exsiting amount of likes are just social proof for new targetd Fans. People should concetrate on how they can attract and engage their targeted audience to convert them in customer.

Yes and no. As far as having a creditable targeted Facebook page, buying likes is pointless, BUT if you have a blog or website and add a like box where it will say 12,409 people like this, then that social proof creates trust for the visitor who will likely not even click on the Facebook page anyway.

I have a site that saw an increase in people joining my list when I put a like box with 1300+ likes on it.
If you want targeted, quality likes to your page? No, don't buy likes, but to build social proof for your webpage or blog? Yes.

If people are only after the numbers to get more noticed on Facebook, then buying likes can actually be useful. It all depends on what their goals are but people shouldn't depend mainly on buying likes because they become useless in the long run. Once they get enough real likes, they should engage with these users to generate more leads and sales.

I say why buy them when there are sites like SomethingSocial.net
It is like stumble except it does facebook likes views youtube likes and views google and much more. This is how I get my likes... There are a ton of sites like these and you are only getting people that want to like you... Its FREE and doesn't take long to get the likes... And it is much more natural than paying someone that gives you 1000 likes in 3 days...

I agree that buying likes is not good since those likers are just dummy accounts instead of real people. It will not help you to build strong social media presence if you do that method.

Another great way to get likes is to exchange like with others. Make sure the page you are exchanging your like with have a page that is similar to yours so you know you are getting targeted likes. It pretty useless to have people like your page if they are not interested.

Hi Sams,

If your promoting only your sites you will probably feel no difference because its really hard to gain money from it unless you try CPA which is finding some product to promote as an affiliate then start making a Fun page for it and gather more likes then you will see the difference.

I compare Fb like more with newsletters. If I have 15k Like and each post i put their getting actually 500 like, then its like that 15K like are total waste. But The important thing is that, Those 500 nos. of likes or shares have to potential bring additional likes from out side your page like.

posting too many offers won't be liked by the fans. Offers must be made in a way to be liked by the fans and not to irritate them.

buying likes is one of the mistakes I've done, and I delete the page as soon as I detected that some of the likes are bots. a total lost of 5$ and effort but a lesson gained.
60% of my post are broad related to my niche but they are not offers or services it's just for engagement and for fun, 30% are articles and videos that complements my offers 10% are offers that don't look like offers more like "roach marketing" well it depends on the niche.
