Like other fb business pages?

Hi everyone,

I'd like to stay in touch with all the other facebook pages in the niche I'm writing in. Should I add them as a business page or as my own name? How does this work?

    I’m having trouble understanding your question. Are you saying you want to stay in touch with fan pages that are already established or do you want to create new ones?

    If it’s the former, just like those pages and you will receive status updates from them. If it’s the latter, you would create a business page and link you personal account to it as an admin.

      It is the former, I was just wondering if it was a good idea to like fanpages of other websites with my own fanpage. I understand that's a good idea ;-)

        Certainly a good idea, you can also comment on those pages using your page which will expose your page to fans of other pages, thus you will get free fans from them.
