FB ad suggested bid price

Hi, is it necessary to keep your bid within suggested price range? For instance bid range for CPM is 0.05-0.11 if I bid 0.4 means less people will see my ad? If i would bid 0.12 more people will see my add?
The same every situation CPM CPC the bigger bid you give means the bigger audience will see your ad, or your ad will be shown more often?

If you bid below the suggested range, your ad will not be shown as often. If you bid above the suggested range, your ad will be shown more often.

It does not mean a bigger audience will see your ad, because you are given an estimated number of people that fall under your targeting options. It simply means your ad will be shown more or not very much, depending on your bid.

Its best If you can keep the price within their suggested price range as It can help you to receive more ad impression. The suggested price does not mean you will be charged within the range,It can be lower than that depending on the numerous factors. The suggested price, expected audience reach these all are just an estimation.

Always bid the absolute max you are willing to pay. If your max that you are willing to pay is above the suggested price then bid above the suggested price.

Better to pay withing the suggested bid, paying below suggested bid means your ad might not be shown at all.

Tell us how it goes and what you decide to bid. I've been thinking of getting into paid Facebook advertising instead of just creating accounts for different websites that people can like and share. We will see!

Go higher with the suggested price but make sure you only risk what you can afford losing. Give us an update on how it went for you. Good luck!

I have tried it bidding the lowest and kept the days total to 5.00 within an hour the 5.00 was gone. I had like 27 clicks but no sales, and it was totally targeted traffic so it works but you will spend a lot of money really quick.

    Hello guys,

I have been playing about with bids and placing positions, and realised that when I increased my bid to max (£1 per 1000 impressions), my ad was show more often and i received couple of page likes, but likes wasnt my goal, I am advertising hair coloring service offer in my salon, really good offer. It is city targeted, only womens with precise interests, so it is quite small audience. Also most of people who checking ads are deal hunters, so make sure you put very good deal, otherwise you might waste your money.
My ad still running after loads of changes been done. I will see real results in few days (fingers crossed).

It also depends on your bidding. Others they lower it down after several hours to decrease the charges.
