Facebook Marketing for Business 1 page or more

I currently run a cell phone repair business and have awesome success using facebook as a marketing tool. I have 3 pages now for different cities with a decent amount of likes but I pay for marketing on each. Does anyone think there would be an advantage to combining these pages and there likes into one cost wise for marketing.

Absolutely. Seems very counterproductive the way you are doing it. One page means less likes per page. You want to build a community, you'll get much better discussion with more likes on one page.

Thats what I kind of figured, I did it sort of to seperate the business in one area from the other but I don't know.... The other thing is has anyone come up with a good fan gate solution, Ever since Facebook changed it kind of sucks because I would really rather have people fall on my main page and not try to direct them to some other page I have created on a tab that people have a hard time finding. Even my store tab is hard for people to find...

I think it will be more cost effective for you to combine all 3 pages. Your marketing costs will go down and likes will go up.

So I merged my Facebook Pages Great over 3000 likes to one page.... NO!!! Not so great sure my likes reflect the merger but when I go into insights it is not so. One page I merged with 12000 targeted likes from a specific City we will call it city x is no longer. Yes the likes total went up but when I go into insights it still shows the likes from X city at 24 which is what it was at before the merger. Not only that but the business from X City went completely dead right after the merger. No more calls no more texts no more messages just dead. Seems facebook just added the total likes from my other pages but did not transfer the actual people who liked my pages. All that advertising money that I spent getting those targeted likes gone... What kind of crap is that...

So sorry to hear that! I've never merged few pages into one, so am just guessing, but - could it be a matter of time? Maybe changes aren't instant and you have to wait a bit till everything sit in its place again?

Be a little patient. Making changes takes process so it will take a little time. It's a good thing though you call their attention to this. Give us an update what happens. I have never tried to merge pages before and it's interesting and helpful to know how it goes. Good luck!
