the best way is to do proper SEO for each video. It will help exposing your video on search engines as well as on you tube for targeted keywords. Apart from this share your videos initially on social media sites to get instant exposures to your videos. It will help you start your videos running.

1) Buy 'em on fiverr if all you want is to rack up the views count
2) SEO the videos to the top of search engines and get natural views
3) Exchange views with other viewers through services such as vagex, youlikehits, etc.
4) Check out the couple of free youtube WSO's

Another great tip is to cross-promote your YT videos. Add a YT widget to your website or blog and add a YT tab on your Facebook page.

Yeah promoting a post with a video in it on facebook is a good way to go. My lil brother isn't even in marketing and he was telling me results about views to his music videos from promoting on facebook for as little as $10.

Yep cross-promotion is really good, for example on facebook or twitter. What is even better is being recommended by other youtube channels or facebook pages. Maybe there is a possibility to do some partnership with another channel? So both would benefit from that.

Get listed at sponsored listings in Youtube and when you reach few thousand views, your video will automatically get more views as it's been seen by many and if they liked that they too might be sharing, which is what needed for going viral. Buy Youtube Views, and have proper SEO for that video.
