How do you use Google Analytics for FB ads?

I have a FB fan page which I'm creating ads to get likes. I heard you can use Google Analytics to track the time of day people click on your ads. I've used Analytics before but it was a struggle to learn how to use it. Can anyone help me out with this request?

    You can track visits using analytics from Facebook ads however you cannot see the time of day that they arrived at your site. Google aggregates data from your site and it doesn’t show up in your reports for 24 hours. There are no reports that show time of day that someone visited your site.

    If you still want to track FB ads using analytics, you would use URL tagging.
