Hey Guys

Quick question. What would you recommend to be the best social media management software? Any Recommendations?

I have tried Hootsuite, it distributes well on linkedin groups, but once I connected fb groups, it throws back message saying it blocked.

PostPlanner - sounds interesting but, it is only for fb.

There is also TweetDeck, CoTweet, what would you recommend?

My main purpose is to: distribute content that I create and monitor the results.

Big thanks

M

I'd definitely recommend using TweetDeck and Hootsuite as I've tried them both in social media. But since you're looking for more options, maybe this list of over 15 social media management tools will help you find out which software is good for you. It's ranked according to Alexa stats, and a comparison of its features and pricing.

I have used postcron myself for almost 2 years with absolutely no problems at all, my facebook pages range from 208k down to 25k likes and never an issue with blocks, missing posts, etc

I've been using Postcron recently as well. They've added a new feature recently which allows you to schedule updates using a spreadsheet, rather than one at a time. If you're posting very regularly, this can save you HEAPS of time

My only concern is I was under the impression Facebook's Edgerank algorithm may punish you for using outside scheduling software. Not sure if this is true but it would be awesome if someone could confirm

I've also used Hootsuite and Bufferapp

Hootsuite was great, but at the time I was using it, it was impossible to choose the number of updates to post per day, and when to post them. Not sure if this has been fixed, but seemed to be a major oversight

Bufferapp was also quite good, but it didn't seem to add pictures to 'Timeline Photos'. Instead it created an album called 'Buffer Photos' or similar, which was awful from the perspective of users viewing your page itself (as opposed to your updates in their newsfeed) - they couldn't see anything when they loaded the page :S

I use, and would recommend, TweetDeck... however, this is only useful for managing Twitter as that is the only social network it integrates with
