Twitter Phishing/Hack

I recently had a DM from a trustworthy source but I'm not sure if their account may have been hacked. It was linked through tinyurl.com . Anyhow, after this day, I've had problems logging into my account. When I type in my email, it nothing shows up in my inbox or spam. Yes it is the correct email address & password. Anybody have a previous experience? Thanks!

Yeah, that happened to me a little while ago. This is a link that gives away your account info. Never click on this in the future. They probably used it to get into your account and change the password and stuff. Try emailing Twitter through your email you have setup and try contacting them to get some help. I'm not sure of other ways but unfortunately you were sucked into the trap of a hacker. Good luck!

It could be an good phishing site. Next time try to ask the person what it is.

Definitely think that's what is was. I think that they may have changed my email because I don't receive any requests to Reset Password. Anyway that I can get this worked out?

It's a phising attack. Just avoid suspicious URLs or just email them personally ask them what the link is for. And if it's a professional contact you're not comfortable questioning, you can be like "Sorry Twitter seems to be down for me, what was in the DM that you sent me?." Or you could also check and see if the URL is malicious. PC World had a good article that I usually default to:
