Facebook, twitter, Myspace, google+, youtube, linkedin, Nextsportstar all are good for marketing. But which is the best for sports social network. I want to your suggestion.
#social media #marketing #media #site #social
  • I get tons of traffic to my sports niche sites from Pinterest.
  • Youtube works great if you want to make simple highlight packages etc. You can also integrate that with Facebook quite easily. Something like LinkedIn would not work well however.

Like mtihani suggested, Pinterest could possibly prove to be effective as well, though I don't have much experience on that site myself.

    Good Luck!
  • Not sure if Facebook and Twitter are good to target for sports since I've had few conversions using them. You could try Pinterest, as what mtihani suggested.

    • Facebook,Twitter,Linkedin,Pinterest,Google+,Plurk, friend feed... etc
  • I consider Facebook and Twitter the best social media sites today. They are undoubtedly the best and most popular sites and we can definitely reach different people here. They are not that targeted compared to Google+ and LinkedIn but if done right, these sites are more efficient compared to others.
  • For me Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, G+, and StumbleUpon works best and gives the best results. For marketing you cannot rely on just one site. It is great to use all these together for the best results and marketing.
  • Hi!
Well it depends what exactly are you promoting. If it's sports goods, you can use Pinterest for it, make a little on line shop there.
If it's sport activities - register your own YouTube channel for the tons of videos.
  • I personally think it depends on the niche you want to focus.
Lets say, Entertainment, I guess Twitter is great because Celebrities Entertainment fans are monitoring in Lists to main Celebrities, and if you build your reputation there, you will be getting LOTS of traffic. Also you can use the Title strategy in less than 120 characters. People wants to gossip. Also Youtube, Facebook, and many more have people attached to that Social Network. So like Warren Buffet says, put your eggs in different baskets.
But if you focus on more professional stuff, like programming, finance, etc. I would say that you have to network with people that are building their career (authorship) and they prefer Linkedin. Ive been researching Linkedin for the past year, and its amazing how it has worked for me and for clients. So its actually a good business, networking and letting people know what you offer in your profile. So you help people, create good discussions in Groups, etc. (Like the one you created over here).

Another Social Network that I start liking is Google Plus. I guess that in the moment that Google Plus start selling the Augmented Reality Glasses, everything is going to be great with Google Places and Google Plus (Google Credits and more).

    Hope this helps you.
  • I consider Facebook as the best social media site.

Im pretty convinced that you could get a good amount of targeted traffic from Facebook.

There must be quite a few sport related Facebook groups.
  • I think nextsportstar.com, Google+ and twitter is best for the sports social network.
  • Hi laurenmor, In my opinion you should go for facebook, twitter or pinterest for sports social network.
