Need a good laugh? Facebook calls this "too sexual" LOL

If you've ever ran any ads on facebook, you're probably getting used to the arbitrary way they approve/disapprove ads. They are getting as bad as Google in some respects, and reason just doesn't play into the equation.

It kind of makes you wonder who these large companies are hiring or outsourcing these things to.

Here is what I received in response to a post I was promoting to my fans, on my timeline, for a Giveaway event.

"Your ad wasn't approved because it violates Facebook's Ad Guidelines by promoting adult products or services like subscription services, sexual health, or medical treatments to people who are under 18 years old. Learn how to fix your ad: https://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=256048321073744. If you believe that your ad follows our policy or you need help, get in touch: https://www.facebook.com/help/contac...54537974582838. "

Not only is the ad non sexual, but my fans are all over the age of 25!!

The lunatics are truly running the asylum. I think that is what happens when a company gets too large and full of themselves.

LOL. They probably read leverage as cleavage. But I think they have been pretty sticky with text vs picture as well - which is really a non-issue...

You're really going to laugh at this one!

It might be the word "felix" that has set them off.

See Urban Dictionary: Felix for details.

Wow lol, now that is a good one. Never heard that one. But I guess
I don't claim to be up to date on all the urban lingo.

At the end of the day, I resubbed the ad, three more times. Was rejected for sexual content twice more, and the third time it went through. Go figure.

Always a good time in FB land : )

It's obvious the guy is showing too much skin..

But I think they disapproved it because there's so much text on it. They just couldn't find the appropriate button to click and just said it was sexual.. LOL

Maybe you also misspelled the word "last" in the main copy!

Just an update. I heard back after I appealed the rejection.

They just copied and pasted. Your ad is too sexually explicit and targets minors.

So doesn't sound like it was a lazy mistake, it was a crazy mistake, but that's their story and they're stickin' to it.

I said fine, then I better warn the world that their pictures of puppies could be labeled terrorist since you seem to feel free to throw labels around. I should sue you for calling me a porn peddler!

Its too funny to take seriously.

Oh well, I moved on to the next one. It's all you can do when dealing with FB, Google, MS, etc...there's no "reason" just a zombie robot.

I'll show you an ad they keep giving me, that goes to a facebook page that is nothing but an app that redirects my browser to a sexually explicit page, I never save it, but I'm sure I'll see it again.

The ad looks sorta OK, but the tipoff is MILF in the ad headline.

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

Imfelix is a herbal sexual enhancement drug that comes in 500 mg and 1000 mg varieties (the family pack). They even have an Imfelix race car. I love their commercials!
