Regarding a Fiverr gig that provides facebook likes and followers

Hi Warriors,

I have this question that keeps on puzzling me when I visit Fiverr.

How do those guys on Fiverr provide real Facebook likes and followers on your fan page?

Plus, some of them even say these likes are collected from over a few different countries.

    They are not "real."

And there are programs that do it.

I think there are some that are from real people, but not necessarily from people with a genuine interest in your page though. It's done through a site where Facebook users sign up and are paid in cash or 'reward points' for each like that they give to a vendor's page.

Sorry I can't remember the site and how it's done exactly.

I think the majority would be just software though, advertised as 'real' because most buyers don't bother checking the accounts, just the number of artificial likes.

Not worth it in my opinion. Personally, i'd rather send/pay for alot of traffic to my email newsletter/squeeze page as opposed to facebook.

None are real. But they can be useful for starting a brand new page. This is what I do when I set up facebook pages. Give them a little boost with some fake likes then start a few paid ad campaigns to get real ones.

I stated this on another post but I'll repeat it here. Last year I bought some information from someone on here about how to set up a fanpage, how to garner interest, how to find the right people, and how to get those people to your page.

It totally worked. It was worth the money I spent, (which was not a lot).

I did go to Fiverr when I was getting started and looked at those ads where they claim to give you a whole bunch of Likes, but I didn't want fake "Likes", I wanted real people who were really interested in the page.

The trick is, you really, honestly, DO have to find the right niche. That is the biggest thing of all. Once you find a niche that will interest people, you have to advertise it. I ran some ads when I first started the fanpage.

Let me tell you something, I am in no ways rich at all. I don't have money. I'm poor as hell. My car broke in May and I still have no way to fix it...ok? NOT rich. I don't have hundreds of dollars to invest in advertising each month. Unless I want to live on the streets.

Yah, with Fiverr, it's only $5. OR, you can target your demographic on your NICHE fanpage, invest that $5 in to marketing the site, and you gain some traffic. Here is why doing it that way is better: Those people SHARE with their friends and family. So, you aren't just getting a few people for $5. You do at first, but then they go and start blabbing about your page to everyone they know...FREE advertising.

With fake likes, that's not going to happen. So are you really getting a good return on your $5 investment when you buy fake likes? Or will you get a better investment from people who actually want to be on your page, and then tell everyone they know? And then those people tell everyone they know? And then those people...

It's like that old 70s shampoo commercial...."and so on, and so on, and so on". That is how marketing works for you.

(So, I got that part right...now just have to figure out how to make money off of it......sigh.)

To restate what others have said here, I wouldn't even bother with fiverr. The only reason you would want fake likes is to make your page appear more legitimate, but once people see there isn't any interaction with your posts, they'll assume they're all fake anyways. Start posting quality content once or twice a day. It can be worth it to promote posts or do facebook ads targeted at your demographic. Those likes will be worth way more than non-existent people. Go figure.

The thing no one wants to say is that a crowd attracts a crowd - that's with fake, real or indifferent likes. Some Fiverr gigs offer crappy, inactive/fake accounts and some don't.

If time was irrelevant it wouldn't matter how long it took to acquire a handful of active participants on your page.

If people weren't as deep as the shallow end, it wouldn't matter how many likes we had on the page because no one would be swayed by "popularity."

Yea, the eggs on Twitter and the mystery men on Facebook and Google Plus are a bit disheartening, but no one (customers, average Joe, etc) really knows if it's some lazy slob who will "get around to" completing their profile, or a hastily thrown together profile attached to some dead-end Gmail account.

Buy whatever you want, but even still, if you're publishing good stuff, real people will come, and when they see other "people" they'll stick around. And if your stuff is really good, then maybe they'll comment and - BADABOOM! - you got engagement!

When someone on Facebook clicks the like button, they know they're sharing with friends. So they're not likely to share something that is subpar or would bring embarrassment. Just saying, if they like what they see, they're going to share so their friends can enjoy too.

Which is why I said your stuff needs to be "really good."

They are not real, none of them are. They use exchange sites like addmefast.com . So you may get some real profiles liking your page, but i guarantee you will see 0 activity from them. Spend your $5 boosting a post.

I did the Fiverr gig when I first created my fanpage. I wanted some likes on my page so I didn't look like a complete newbie, even though I was. It was fine for a while, but then all of a sudden I started losing "likes" on my page every day! My number was going the wrong way big time! It was quite depressing clicking on my fanpage to find another drop in the number of "likes". I know it was those fake likes I ordered falling off. It wasn't worth it!

This is an excellent point you've made about how fake Facebook likes falling off. For one thing, most people buy Facebook likes to make a page look more popular, but few think of what happens when those 'fans' start withdrawing the likes. It's not only depressing for the page owner but could make the page look unpopular to real fans.

There's only one thing that you might get out of buying a gig adding likes/followers on Fiverr - you'll make your page look "cooler". The likes will either be from fake accounts or from people that aren't really interested in your message and will probably unlike/unfollow you after some time... You can actually do it yourself for free using sites like youlikehits.com or like4like.org !

    HI

I don't think that this method will help you because you may receive likes from real people not bots but this doesn't mean that they are interested in your business, i think it's best to get likes through the quality of your page

I agree, do it naturally. We always want to see big numbers, but if they arent doing the interaction the way we need them to, ie, sharing and visiting, they are worth anything anyway.

    Never, ever buy Facebook likes.

In fact, if you've ever bought likes, you should delete your page and start over. Here's why:

I think a lot of people here are missing the point about buying likes from fiverr, it's called social proof.

Think of it this way, if you were walking down a street and there were two restaurants, one was full and the other was empty, which one draws you attention?

This is why you need a few thousand likes before you start an ad campaign because two ads promoting a dating offer will get different click through rate if one has thousands of likes and the other has a few hundred.

I do this with all my fan pages and it works.

That's the ? ETHAN are those people that Fiverr gives you real people or who are they? I don't trust artificial numbers as they are not people you might be able to market to it's just a made up number.

these likes can be out of softwares or manually but in this way you can't get real targeted audience.

first let me clear you, all those people offering you likes, followers ect are not what you think, they are all false ids, bots.
So you'll be wasting your money, I know there may be very few people who are actually providing real likes but it's really impossible to find the right guy.

Fiverr is one of the websites that advertise different programs that are created to increase traffic to your website, likes on your pages and gain you more followers. These programs are called bots and it actually is true. However, you can never be sure that a hundred percent of your followers are really interested on your business or niche. Plus, you have to purchase these programs too.
