Reasons Why You Should Buy Twitter Followers

Look Like a Boss: A Big Twitter Following Makes You Appear Important
Let’s face it, a lot of social media activity is already just thinly veiled narcissism. Those who give themselves a pat on the back when their newest instagram post gets 13 likes must certainly be temped by the idea of buying more Twitter followers.

Businesses have the advantage of labeling their self-promotion as branding, but ultimately it’s two sides of the same coin. There’s no judging here though – we’ve all felt the rewarding confirmation that comes with a retweet.

While boiling down the value of your online presence to a mere number on Twitter sounds ridiculous, there’s really no denying that one’s Twitter following, despite being a vanity metric, is often thought to correlate with a user’s importance. For clubs booking comedians or venues hosting bands, a high Twitter following can easily put you ahead of the competition. A large Twitter following shows promise and possibility - not just of a good show, but of bringing in more followers and fans in to see the show, and therefore bringing in more money.

Even if the followers are fake, the clout that comes with a high Twitter following is very much real. A boost in Twitter followers can transform a stand-up amateur into a professional comedian, a garage band into a rising star, a movie extra into fresh new talent, and a small business into an authoritative source. Individuals have even been hired for job positions as a result of their high Twitter following, since the number serves as a representation of how powerful your online word can be.

With fake followers it’s all a masquerade, so it really comes down to how long you can push the act or live the lie.

Bandwagon Syndrome
Related to the previous section, once real users see your Twitter numbers rising, they’ll be more likely to follow you as well. If someone claims to be an expert food critic but only has 23 followers, most will think that the only food they’re judging is their mom’s mac and cheese. If that number is more like 800 or 2,000, they become a considerably more reputable source – one that users will be much more likely to follow. This means your Twitter robot followers are actually generating real followers as a result of your imagined prestige.

Easier & Cheaper
It’s a heck of a lot easier to buy followers on Twitter than earn them. Gaining a real Twitter following takes time and effort – you need to consistently be sharing great content, posting hilariously witty remarks, or broadcasting the latest news.

You could put in all that effort… or you can grab your wallet and buy a militia-sized army of Twitter followers for less than a Starbucks Frappuccino.

All The Cool Kids are Doing It
Start-ups, celebrities, and politicians alike have been known to buy more Twitter followers – it’s a fairly common practice for those who have something to gain from amassing a large number of Twitter followers in a short period of time.

According to the Fake Follower Check tool from StatusPeople, which claims the ability to determine how many of a user’s Twitter followers are fakes, 71% of Lady Gaga’s over 35 million followers are fake or inactive, along with 70% of President Obama’s nearly 30 million followers.

It’s Not All That Bad
If the President of the United States has fake Twitter followers, it can’t be all that bad, right?
While purchasing bot Twitter followers is against Twitter’s terms and white-hatters might scoff at the idea, it’s completely legal. One also has to question how corrupt buying Twitter followers really is compared with regular Twitter marketing practices like paying for a promoted hashtag – is it just a matter of splitting hairs?

If you already have a large audience or are just getting started, I can see the value of buying a few followers. That said, you can get your Twitter account suspended and fake followers continually get purged. Having real fans provides much more long term value and using Twitter ads it is pretty easy to get a lot of followers for a low cost. Still, you have a valid point that buying Twitter followers can be a good idea sometimes.

Buying fake Twitter followers is like buying fake customers. In the end neither puts money in your pocket so the purchase price is just a waste. Not a single point you made is actually valid or shows any real thought. But Ill not get into a debate and Ill simply give you the one reason NOT to buy Twitter followers that trumps any argument. ITS AGAINST TWITTERS TOS!

I agree with you in one regard that the presence surrounding your Twitter account will be a big influence on whether or not someone follows you. Humans are sheep, remember. If they see someone claiming to be an expert, with 200k followers, would you not check them out?

Why buy followers when you can build them for free? I do not buy your logic. Buying followers is almost always NOT worth the money. If you don't want to spend the time to really promote on Twitter then just pay a social marketing specialist to do it for you. They will be more expensive but they will get you results that are far better then just buying followers.

Twitter is good networking site from where you can get relevant traffic. But no need to buy followers. Just by increasing your online reputation and sharing good content with users you can soon increase number of followers.

Stay away from using bots or software for this. Only with these automated spam tools, Twitter will indeed ban your account.

But if you are buying from a reliable source, AND YOU NEVER GIVE YOUR TWITTER PASSWORD TO ANYONE, then you will enjoy a large credibility online, and a steady increase in sales for your business, once you use Twitter as well

I actually created a bot myself to follow another users followers and unfollow those that don't follow me back. That way, I get followers that I KNOW are in my niche and potentially interested in my product

    Hope this trick helps someone!
    Cheers,
    Aron

  • I don't understand atall why people want to buy fake twitter or even facebook followers or fans! What am I missing ? What is all the big deal about them ?
I'm a programmer myself and I sure have no wish to build an automation tool that will create millions of accounts for you (fake accounts).
Rather concentrating on generating genuine fans and followers and traffic but I just need to learn how to do all these genuinely manually first before I can teach it to my auto tool. You get me ?

I doubt if buying Twitter followers would so good for your business. I think this is more like spending some amount of cash for nothing. Let us face it, some companies offering this kind of service do not really care about the quality of followers they produce. If you have a poor quality pool of followers, then you wouldn't profit from your twitter followers at all.

However, there are companies and outsourcing companies out there that can truly do the magic. These companies are the ones that are keen when it comes to the quality of leads, followers and subscribers they produce.

If it's my new account on twitter or any other social media, I'd never buy twitter followers, facebook likes ect.
It only works when you already have good fan following on your account.

I bought a gig before on fiverr and it gave me 1K followers, now I have more than 1K and my business is growing. I think it really helps when you're active in social media.

I do agree the high percentage of fake or inactive followers on Twitter is directly related to their poor conversion rates (except for few niches). Overall, I agree no matter what social media platform you are spending your time on....u need to get the follower count up to atleast few thousand regardless of how you get that number. But after that...u will need to learn how to engage your niche.

Even using Twitter is fairly pointless for most. It's txt messages to the world, and it's hard to do anything meaningful with 140 chars.

Put the same effort and funds into your own site first.

Then other social outlets, if needed. To me, Twitter is last.

This is as silly as buying Facebook likes.
