How to get more likes for Facebook page?

I've been working my butt off for the past few months and had got up to a measley 200 likes. If it weren't for another page that had 300k likes recommending me I'd still be stuck. I currently have 1,635 likes. I can direct you to my page if need be.

It's a "just for fun" thing I do in my spare time. I enjoy making people laugh so they are funny image/meme posts. I thought about making a twitter account and using a bot but I see they're cracking down on that (to get followers on twitter and tweet to follow the page,etc).

Seems like everything for Facebook is also a big scam. I'm doing everything right, playing by the rules, there just has to be something I'm missing at this point. I don't expect 300k followers overnight..

Can anyone give me some help/pointers/tips? Some sort of direction. I'm sorry if I didn't provide enough information. If you need more I'd be happy to give you it.

    Try following other fan page then message them to do the same or you can also post some videos that has many viewers in youtube and try to put it in you fb fanpage which is related to your page of course so that it will attract them to like your page.

    You can try promoting your page on your personal Facebook groups and to your Facebook timeline, as well. You may also consider asking for the help of other Facebook pages. Ask them whether they can help you promote your page in exchange for something. But I have a friend who earns page likes by making giveaways. Maybe, you'd like to try that, too.

    Here are the basic steps for more likes in my opinion:

    1.target something that will have an impact on your visitors(something that they are crazy about)
    2.Try to write the best title to every post
    3.Make your fb cover relevant

    I also have a fan page that i use to drive traffic to my humor website.I get 100-150 likes a day using the following method:i joined tens,maybe hundreds of facebook groups that are all about exchanging likes.Search "open groups" and type "like my page" or "like 4 like","likers" or "promote fan page",you will figure it out.Once you joined those groups,you will find daily hundreds of people that ask you to like their page,and in return,they will like yours back.Simple,this is how i got 940 likes to my page in about a week and continues to grow.

    Basically, what you need to do is to make your page appear relevant and interesting. As much as possible, do not buy likes. That will not give you the assurance that you will get the kind of market that you need for your Facebook page. It may not be that easy to get a lot of likes the natural way but it is the best way to obtain genuine Facebook likes that you can make use of.

    Just never forget that if you want to get page likes, you will really need to invest a little something. It may be effort or money (but effort, mostly). Also, you have to focus on your goals. Do not be discouraged easily if you pay for Facebook ads and you don't get the number of likes that you are expecting. Learn how to wait.

      I would love to advertise but there are no affordable plans for me. $20 bucks a day? Yeah, right. $1 a day maybe... lol
