My Twitter Followers Are Gone!

Hello everybody,

I got a Twitter account for one of my sites and because I followed too many people in 1 day, I got a suspended, however since it was my first time, all I had to do was to enter CAPTCHA and put tick marks beside "I will never go against Twitter TOS ...."

But now that I got my account back, all my followers seem to be gone? Is it just temporary or are they really gone?

    you used an automated program that automatically follows people on twitter. What you actually did was forgot to the twitter following throttle so your account would not be flagged for suspension. The same thing happened to me in the past, but I no longer use the program today and I can care less about the twitter following. What you need to do is contact twitter and asked them to lift the suspension. Most likely, they have an automated system that will make you promise not to follow people so fast and will automatically and possibly restore your twitter account. Don't quote me on that though. Are you using Tweet adder by chance?

    Yeah I did but I only got suspended beause I started to rapidly follow them back, not because I bough followers.

    Either way. Just checked back and all my followers are back!!!! I guess it was only temporary glitch on their side

    Probably they are gone if you can use your account regularly.
    You can find a tool in my signature that might help you to get targeted followers, i use this myself and never got banned

    I never understood the whole follow people so they follow you back thing.

    1. It fills your feed with people you have to ignore or your feed becomes useless.
    2. It fills their feed with people they have to ignore or their feed becomes useless.

    Basically are those people who you want to follow you? And will they even see your tweets? If not what's the point? Want a bigger epeen? A large number of followers is worth very little if none of them actually want to read your tweets.

      Hey Aaron, good point. I'm just testing something out here.

      The account I have if for one of my websites. I want to see if a large number of followers will create trust and my conversions go up on my site. I have number of followers displayed in the widget area of the website. If I have lots of followers on each of my social media page, people might be more willing to spend money on my site.

      So I'm just testing out the idea here.
