The decision is yours and should be based on what you're hoping to accomplish.

no they are not "real ones" they are actual accounts yeah but they are just to make your fans count look higher and better. This way your customers will take you more serious.

Hi yestyle - this is a hard one.

I'll tell you this much, there's a countless number of celebrities that started their social media with TONS of fake followers, likes, endorsements, etc.

These likes/followers won't add value in any way beyond fluffing your FB for face-value credibility. Bought FB likes are certainly fake - but does it matter? What are your goals?

I'm guessing you want to establish credibility, and if that's the case, likes will help, fake or not.

Bought FB likes are really only good for your early stages building up at best. At least that's what many celebrities seem to think (as well as politicians - both Obama and Romney bought the majority of their Twitter followers for instance).

This Gizmodo article gives some more insight on celebrity use of bought social media.

    Hope that helps!

bought facebook likes aren't from targed audiences. But if you like you can atleast buy a little amount of Facebook likes to show your new targetd viewers that your Page has been liked by people.
But by trying to be active with engaging post or other method your Page can get a virally shared!

Sorry but this is simply not true. Yes, some seller offer likes from accounts that are inactive and created in bulk by bots.

But there are also ways to get real likes from some of these sellers. You jusy have to know the right people. I know people who can get you 100,000 real likes for $1000 via facebook ads, I also know a guy who can do 100,000 likes by using the tokens from their apps to like your page, they make these apps with viral flash games in them and put in their terms and conditions that they will "occasionally" like pages with their account.

There are plenty more ways to get real likes at a good price, just dont expect to find them on places like fiverr. You get what you pay for these days. My grandad had a saying "if you buy cheap you buy twice"...

I definitely agree that it depends on what your goal is with it.

If you have a fan page, and want to start getting your page recognized, that can definitely help.

I have bought some for my own page with fiverr, but in the end it doesn't really accomplish as much as just getting real people there. When you can get real likes will give you a lot more overall credibility- also if you can get comments on your posts it helps as well.

These likes are not from real people, they all are fake ids, so these likes can't help you earn anything, but if you want your page to look popular then you can do it. fiverr is full of this thing.

Instead of "buying" likes why don't you create a Sponsored ad or Facebook ad that attracts targeted fans to your site. In a sense it's essentially buying likes but you have control over who you are attracting to your page and you are not buying bulk likes from some random company or person that sends you likes that never get you a return on your investment because they are untargeted and fake.

That's true. At least with sponsored ads or Facebook ads, you know that your ads are reaching your target demographic. Using ads also allows you to test which of your posts brings in the most likes, clicks, conversions, etc.

Spot on andreabolder. Quite tricky but worth it all. You'll discover effective strategies using FB insights like best time to post on social media, you will know whom to target in your next ad.

If you'll decide to go for it, you have to monitor and gather data. Data is very important. Goodluck.

Was about posting the exact thing you wrote here. Facebook ads is the best shot if you are ever planning to get a good return on your investment.

If learning about facebook ads seems so difficult, just get yourself on youtube, there are hundreds of videos waiting to teach you there.

Of course its not real. A like is someone who actually 'likes' the content there are liking. By definition it cant be someone who is getting an incentive to do it. Or else its not genuine and hence not real. Can you buy a friend? No. And you cant buy real likes either.

Hi, Why You Shouldn't Buy Facebook Likes

There are three main reasons I'd strongly advise against this practice:
    Ethics: It's Just Wrong;
    Stats: It'll Hurt You; and
    Value: You're Throwing Money Away

So to buy Facebook Likes comes down to frustration and a lack of education. Building a solid, engaged, REAL audience isn't difficult. You just need to know how to do it. Have a nice day

Never buy more than 1000 likes.
Buying likes can be good to get a page started.
Only if you are going to keep promoting the page.

Always do your research on who you buy from. (Alot of scam like sites out there)

Having a few likes to start with gives the impression of popularity, but only if you have contents to back it up. It will be easier to get new likes if you already look established, that is the only good reason for buying likes. Be sure to do some research so the don't go away within a week though.
Though the best way to get likes is good contents and using ads to speed the process up a bit.

This is one hard topic to get along with but in my humble opinion, don't buy more than enough and if buying, always make sure you know the source or rather try and get a proper documentation and terms as to where the likes are originating.

it depends on the goal of buying likes. If you want to buy "authority look", then it's fine. If you want to make instant money from those likes (which we don't know if it's real of fake), that's impossible.

Buying of Facebook likes is not all appreciated from any prospective, be it for social media promotions or enhancing the quality of your page or even for attracting visitors to your page.
Face book is a social media platform where the users show their interest about a particular products or services or company either by liking their pages, or by sharing their post in their respective Time lines, on The group for which they are the members.
Some sites are available such as Fiverr that offers you the services to buy the likes for your page or websites, But those likes are not genuine & you cannot rely on them.

I would also say that it depends on your goal.

Is it only for the look of having all those likes? Or do you really wish to have likes of people who actually really like the content of your page?

For my part, I prefer the second one. I want to build an audience interested in what I put on my page. So for that reason I would not choose to buy likes. But I would put an add on Facebook to get more likes instead from targeted people like someone mentioned earlier.

Ditto...the impact on Edge Rank(Google it) is the #1 issue with buying facebook likes. What people do usually is buy a few Likes to get their page looking solid but when they start to post status updates to grow it legitimately their Edge Rank is so low that none of their followers network see the interactions....the more likes you buy the worse this problem becomes.

Sorry, slightly off-topic: I though edgeranking was dropped by Facebook in 2013? [See article] Yet, I still see EdgeRank member "support" pages. Has it been re-named/re-branded? Or is whatever the current set of Facebook algorithms simply referred to generically as "EdgeRank?"

No matter what kind of subject is your site, you can buy fb likes just for the beginning from fiverr for 5$ which can boost your potential for further real likes. It's good for start. But you will not get any value from the bought likes. That's why, just buy several to show people that your page has likes which can convince interested people in your niche to like it. You can also ask your friends to like it. The audience that you will have will be only people who only liking your page not because of they like, it's because of the service to be delivered. Then you will have to work hard to get real likes to target your audience.

You want REAL people liking your page at their own will. This means you can actually market to them or monetize the page since you know it is a high targeted group of people. I suggest to just run FB Ad's and also make sure to interact/engage with the page as this will lead to free organic Likes. You can get Likes via FB Ad's for super super cheap if done properly.

I promote my clients band online and in the music industry promoters heavily rely on the artist/artists social media traffic and following. YouTube views, YouTube likes and Facebook likes and fans really kick starts a strong profile and shows an immediate following. We booked numerous shows all over Europe this summer and all over the states by beginning with purchased FB likes. It has also ranked us much better on Google for a few keywords. It hasn't hurt our FB page whatsoever but I would say acquiring genuine likes is the way to go if your trying get an immediate ROI on something. I hope this helps.

Focusing on gaining and developing strong relationships with real fans and followers is always going to produce the best return. However, there's an element of value in your early years of business in which having a few extra friends may help out. I recommend that users buy Facebook Fans just in the very very beginning purely in regards to "Social Proof".

      1) Social Proof (Ad defined by Social proof - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
Social proof, also known as informational social influence, is a psychologicalphenomenon where people assume the actions of others reflect correct behavior for a given situation. This effect is prominent in ambiguous social situations where people are unable to determine the appropriate mode of behavior, and is driven by the assumption that surrounding people possess more knowledge about the situation.

First impressions are important, and first time visitors to your website can quickly gauge how "established" or "respected" your site is based off your Facebook fan count. It's nothing too scientific, just think about your own personal experience in regards to this. It's similar to when you walk by a restaurant, if it's packed you assume it's really good.

Beyond the social proof, there is no value. These fans do not care about your business have no interest engaging with your future marketing efforts.

When you say buy Facebook like I am not sure if you are talking about buying them from a 3rd party or running ads on your Fan Page to get likes.

Years ago I bought I think like 1000 likes from a 3rd party. I got likes but I had no engagement at all from those likes. It was a waste of money.

I have heard that if you buy likes on Facebook by running ads that Facebook puts your page in front of people that will have similar interest to you and should engage in your page. I am not really sure how accurate that is. I have done a few of these ads and I have got engagement from them but the most recent one I ran has not provided much. I think the best way to is to attract people to your page. Maybe run some sponsored posts to bring people to your page.

You can never buy Facebook real fans but can easily find some one on Fiverr or any where else to provide cheap Facebook 'fake' likes which have benefit other then the increased number of figure (of your facebook likes on your page) which sometimes looses with time.

Don't throw your money on Fake things, Rather spend time and money increasing your real fan base.

Having done a lot of experimentation with every kind of way, I recommend staying away from the fake likes on Fiverr, because of a few reasons: First, they usually have trouble "sticking", and Facebook is getting smarter and smarter at detecting bot generated accounts and ending them. So you may get 1000 likes up front, then 2 weeks later, you might only have half, and continue to lose a few dozen a week til you have nothing. Then you look less popular than before, because now you are LOSING fans in the public's perception.

The other reason I'd be weary of that method is because it kind of puts your account at unwarranted risk.

The good news is that you can get REAL fans by investing a small (similar) budget into a Facebook ad campaign that will be 1000% more valuable to you because of the following:

    * The people are real, and really consume your content
    * The people are you preferred target market
    * Facebook is happy with you and you're not breaking any rules
    * It's the right thing to do

I'm not the world's best expert on all this but I am speaking from my experience.

    I hope this helps.

He received the "likes" which were of course fake, but the thing is that after about 2 months they disappeared...all at the same time. As a team, we helped him out by "liking" his page but not enough to cover all the "likes" he lost. Maybe purchasing Twitter followers is ok but definitely not Facebook likes.

I am on the fence. Purchased likes before, not knowing alot about them. Yes turns out they where fake. After a few months some will "fall off". The some that stay are just there to fluff up your likes. They will not interact with you, which is fine because they are on the other side of the world anyway and may not even know english very well.

Just know in the end you will have over paid because most of them will fall off, so if you do buy likes get a cheap quote.

I know that, it's only a decoration for your FB page when someone see your page with more likes, may be they will like your page because it's having more existed likes.

No. I would strongly recommend you to never paid for Facebook likes. Because most of the users from those likes are literally useless for your business. They are automated accounts which are used only for such purpose. Instead of this, I would like to suggest you to go for Facebook advertising. This will help to in increasing likes as well as traffic to your site.

Try some of these steps to get people to genuinely like you
-facebook ads: you can choose how you pay and how much you want to; you can also target it to your desired demographic.
-ask people on your mailing list and other social networks to like you on Facebook, if you have a website, add a link to your fb page on the landing page
-like other relevant pages, share their content, contact the admins of those pages and try to negotiate some sort of content sharing partnership
-incenitvise liking you by running a contest/sweepstake/offer/discount code
-But the most important is good content, because ultimately that is what your actual audience, will like/share and keep coming back for

Talking about buying ads, I just came across this new concept here IBOexchange, it's absolutely free but I think it's very interesting.

You should be very carful which site you use, their are genuine suppliers of facebook likes that use real facebook profiles. Using the wrong one could not give a positive impact on your page and also may get it banned.

I have been using Fans Blaster HQ | Buy Facebook likes | Twitter or Instagram Followers | Youtube Views for a long time now and their likes and customer service excellent, no bots, realistic fast delivery and I was surprised to see value is so reasonable for a genuine service like this. Hope this helps

Exactly. 'Buying likes' clearly works, but what does it achieve? I guess it can make your page appear popular - but this probably won't help you if you're trying to sell a product or service. As the above person says, promote your page and connect with real people in order to achieve real results.

How is that possible? Google has no way of knowing wether fans are real or not. Even casual visitors to your page are not likely to notice that. Facebook is in the business of downgrading your social media presence unless your fans are rabid or pockets deep enough. I'm sure they'll happily take your cash if you're willing to advertise to bunch of bots.

Someone can run an article about company or political figure having fake likes/followers, but some of the churnalists who have tried ended with egg on their face. A Like from a genuine Facebook user, has value not only as an endorsement, It also increasing visibility and provided a potential touch point for sales.
Where as Buying fake 'Likes' won't drive long-term engagement with your business, or sharing, or customer loyalty, or sales. It won't help develop your brand's community.Basically It undermines the real value of social media to a brand.

The best way to establish credibility with your fans is not through fake likes but with good, solid information that caters to the reader's needs. When you help the reader, you gain their trust. Most people are more persuaded to like a page by what it gives them, rather than the number of likes already on that page.

Facebook is a social media platform which allow you to share the update regarding the company, products & service among your users to cover the larger group of audience People would prefer to share & get genuine updates which they would love to share.
So, buying of the Facebook like is not at preferable because it reduces the reputation & brand image of the organization.

  • Hey, when I first started I thought I could buy a bunch of likes and my products would sell, well that did not work out that way. I prefer to buy Facebook traffic targeted towards getting fans to my Fan page and asking them to like my page, that way they have the opportunity to see all my offers. This is a very inexpensive method as the CPC is really low, that is because Facebook seems to reward you for keeping traffic on Facebook.

I know there is a lot of conflicting opinions on this circling around, but in my opinion, buying Facebook "Likes" is not a good option for long term business success. High Facebook like counts may make you appear more popular, but more times than not, it will do nothing for profits. To grow profits, your fans must be targeted and interested in what you are selling.

I recommend using the money you were going to invest in Facebook likes in throwing up some ads that target the audience you would want to see your content.

I got a high number of likes in a few weeks by using an application with a like-gate for one of my niches. With woobox, I created an app and directed people to it via ads. The application included my videos on YouTube, but in order for people to view the videos, they had to "Like" my Page first to unlock them. I had a high response rate for a small investment in ads.

Also, these new fans are interested in my niche and more willing to purchase my products. I also get great responses on my Facebook posts because my fans are genuinely excited about the content I post. When you buy fans, they are generally not interested in your content and may send your EdgeRank score lower because there will be a large gap between your fan count and the number of people who are actually interacting with your Page.

I understand people who buy fake likes for social proof and while that might help a little, it's not a wise technique in the long run.

I recommend you actually get out there and personally connect with your target audience. Slower route for sure, but more effective in the long run. Engagement is key. Share, like and comment on other people's updates to get noticed.

After some time, ask them to like your FB page. As long as you contact those who are in the same niche as yours and are likely to engage in your brand, most of them would be glad to like your page especially if you regularly post interesting content.

An FB page I'm managing is fairly new and only has 23 likes at the moment. So far, I secured 2 hot, laser-targeted leads for the company by doing that alone. I think ten thousand fake likes from untargeted people who don't give a damn about your niche can't beat that!

I have never "bought" Likes from anywhere. I like White Hat practices which rely on viral Friends and not buying them. I know that it does matter a lot where your likes come from. Google changes its algorithm and tries to highlight quality sites. Having your Likes come naturally from having good content is the best way all around.

Many buy Facebook likes just as a springboard for when they are buying likes using Facebook ads for as little as $5 a day. That way the first few people that show up to your page from your targeted FB ads see that there are some people who have liked the page and are more inclined to like it too. And/or they run free contests to increase likes and the same principle applies. Buying initial non-FB ad likes serves as a means to an end and that's it. Once you get your likes built up by what's considered legitimate means, it doesn't really matter if the original starter likes fall off or not, as it was merely a stepping stone to get the ball rolling. Buying likes upfront obviously is NOT a long-term strategy.

It's not worth it. And it may be pretty obvious to people looking at your FB page... going from 20 genuine likes to suddently having hundreds... and then checking back a week later and seeing you're back down to 20.

You can constantly ask people to like. You can like and share your posts in groups. Lately, I am finding when I post images in groups I get friend requests. When I confirm the friend requests, I ask them to like my facebook page because I am more active over there...
You can also sponser and promote your page. A group of us have liked each others pages and then like and share each others posts.

Welcome. If you buy your friends/like's on facebook are likely to be just empty the account which nobody uses, and what you after such friends? If you want to advertise a product is certainly better to manually invite more and more friends. I know it's hard work but over time will pay off.

In my experience, if you want real likes don't go for those deals where they deliver 1,000 likes or more; these are mostly not real.

When I've purchased much lower amounts like 100 or 200 likes, they tend to be a much higher percentage of real people, which is important to me because I want people to be interacting and engaging with the content on my page, not just racking up a number of likes.

Absolutely correct. At the end of the day, number of likes won't be of as much use as the number of REAL people engaging on your website.

This is what is important in the long run - quality interactions with unique and relevant comments by trusted authorities from the niche. Having an impressive number is ok, but only effective for a first impression, nothing more.

Instead of buying facebook likes, why not do these then...
    1. Use Facebook Ads
    2. Try running a contest
    3. Interact, like with other companies
    4. Publish interesting, engaging, entertaining posts
    5. Be active on FB
    6. Ask your friends, business partners and other contacts to like you on Facebook

It depends on what you want the likes for...it can be for a form of 'just for show' so when people go to your page, they see many people like your page and that triggers 'credibility' with a lot of people. If you want actual, influential people reading your posts, sharing posts, and etc. it is best to build it up naturally. This will allow those influential people to share information from your page, drawing in more viewers/likes..in time you'll have a page full of real and valuable likes.

Maybe you would do better by simply joining a service that allows you to earn likes from others on the site. You would like pages and earn credits and others would like your page for credits. These would be real likes and could work to your advantage as points are lost for the other person if they withdraw their like.

Well I have done alot on FB. Ive bought likes through FB ads and it helps some and also bought fake ones before i knew what i was doing. I now do 1 thing and 1 thing only and get excellent results. Its all about your "audience" and the niche. Trust me some niches do alot better than others. So spend some time planning a strategy and research.. it will definetly pay off. Learning the platform from front to back has benefits in itself.

    Test test test

I have several fanpages due to testing. the ones that work i use them together for a nice "butterfly effect"

You will get good targeted Likes if you target correctly.

I don't think there is any need to buy facebook likes.
It will automatically works if you deliver post that people will like very much.

And other important thing is you brand. Your brand on which your page is created should maintain a quality that people will love to visit more and more. That's it.

Not only are those likes fake and worthless but I believe that it completely decreases the exposure you get to the REAL fans that you do have. I had a page that had a couple hundred likes. But I wanted to look more popular. So I bought likes. Over the years I manged to get it up to about 4000 likes (likely half were real). BUT when I would post things I would be lucky to have 100 people see it.

Other pages that had only 300 likes (an none bought) would still get 100 views. So, buy Facebook likes? No - Personally I think that FB knows when you buy likes and they penalize you by not showing your posts to people.

I never understood the benefit of buying likes or followers. If they are real, and I doubt they are, they aren't liking you because they really care about what you have to say. They are doing it because their is some sort of incentive to do so. I personally think its a waste of money.

If you want people to like you on Facebook provide valuable content you know they will enjoy reading. What's the point in having a bunch of likes from people who are not interested in anything you have to offer?

Definitely NOT buy from fiverr. 100% of the likes are fake! Not real people. And my Facebook fan page got banned because of this. So I just buy straight from Facebook instead after that. I've found a way to optimize my campaign and get as much as 37% CTR, more likes, and very cheap clicks (even less than $0.01). Here's my current campaign:

No. Certain websites promise to provide large numbers of likes for your Page if you sign up and give them money. These websites typically use deceptive practices or are scams. People who like your Page this way will be less valuable to your Page because they won't necessarily have a genuine interest in what your Page is about. If Facebook's spam systems detect that your Page is connected to this type of activity, we'll place limits on your Page to prevent further violations of our Statement of Rights and Responsibilities.

I think that most people just place an ad on facebook, offer like a few cents per click for likes and then get ten to fifteen thousand in a few weeks. This is also the same as buying likes and facebook is selling you them through their ads. I remember a news story about a company getting one million likes this way. I think that Facebook just wants people to buy the likes from them like any greedy corporation should. But, they also can ban you from exchanging likes too.

Buying Likes can be good to increase credibility but, you're never going to get any engagement from them. Plus it's a fairly deceptive way to do it, why not focus on building something people will like organically?

There are many reasons you should not buy 'likes'. One of them being valueless. This likes you buy will most probably be bots and even if they are not it is useless as they might not be people with genuine interest in your field of work. The other reason is Facebook hates spammers and is against fake likes. If you are unlucky and Facebook finds out that you have fake likes you might loose your page.

Most of the sites that offer likes for money are banned by Facebook.
So my advice would be 'Don't go for like buying'. Instead work with the fans you have on Facebook, Stay active, Make your post engaging and if you are confident enough start Facebook page likes Ads.

Buying of Facebook likes is not at all appreciated, Facebook is a social media platform that allow you to share the updates regarding the company, products or services. It help you to create the online presence of yours in the market which ultimately help to build the trust of the users & audience.
So , it is suggested that the Facebook likes should be genuie & is not preferable to buy the links.

If you want likes then you should run a likes campaign through Facebook. You can set it as low as $1 per day and slowly build your likes. doing it this way allows you to target your audience as well as their location. Buying fake likes - you will find that they probably start dropping and most of them have no profile pics etc.

I really wouldn't bother buying likes- the likes could be from people (assuming you buy real likes) that have no interest in your niche/services etc.

I currently have around 120 likes to my Facebook page, and these people have genuine interest in my niche and actually wanted to "like" my page.

These likes are more valuable than 1000 likes from any old corner of Facebook.

    - A lot of FB likes services aren't even real people anyway so I guess that makes it even riskier- save your money for something else

I do not reccomend to buy likes on FB, followers on Twitter, and so on! Why? It is simple, because most of them are not relevant, every internet marketer needs to work in a niche!
From my experience it is better to work with people and sites from the same niche, to be really interested in what you are doing, selling, etc.

I sell likes on my site and on Fiverr, I'm rowanman28 there too. I would say 95% of the likes sold there are fake, and half of those don't even stick. The difference with the likes I deliver is that they come from the only really large social swapping site that does it. I won't mention the name of the site, but people earn points for liking pages, following people on Twitter. The difference between that and fake likes isn't much though, and for my long term clients on my site, I do something different. I make a Facebook page with a keyword phrase title, run a targeted Facebook Ads campaign, and do SEO on the page to try to get it to rank for the phrase, and it's easier to rank a Facebook page than it is a normal website with the same amount of back links, because Facebook has huge authority. There is some benefit to getting fake or random likes, it gives you social proof and some SEO benefit, but I generally try to convince people to go with the other way to get likes, through Facebook Ads. It's not that much more expensive, and can even cost less from some countries if you know how to target the right way.

If Facebook detects that you are getting fake likes/fans, they will lock your account or page, which means you won't be able to get more likes. And, if you've invested a lot of time into that page, it will have all been wasted. Just best to generate genuine fan interest by connecting with others who are truly interested in what you have to say.

Facebook is amazing since there are real people behind the majority of profiles. Those people want to connect with their friends and if they see something that they like they will follow.
    What you need is:
    1. A nice Fanpage (I hope you understand what I mean by "Nice")
    2. A targeted Facebook Ad campaing

    That's it!

Forget buying likes and focus on building your content. Just remember that Facebook is "fun" and if you provide it you are the king!

There are few tools here on the forum that could help you out.

1.Tab Engine: this amazing software will help you create nice fangates.
2.Social Lead Freak: this software will help you to find the Fans.

If you like Fiverr go there and search for people
to create the graphics for your Fangate.

You can also create a viral video and add it to the software I mentioned
above. It will create a post with video that can go viral for you if you use
the right Ad. People love videos!

    I hope it helps:-)

You can buy likes if you want to get your campaign going in the right direction but you don't want to depend on it. I bought a few hundred likes before and after it was done I got a trickle of likes organically from the momentum. So it's not as bad as others are making it out to be.

A good idea would be to go to fivver and get a $50 ad coupon and send targeted visitors to your page that will give you genuine likes. The engagement will drive down your CTR. In which you can get even more likes for less. The other benefit is that you get more engaged visitors sharing your topic with their friends.

This is the best way to buy ads if that is what you are considering.

Buying FB likes may help in establishing credibility at the start but not for the long term. It all depends on your purpose though.

If you're buying FB likes for the purpose of building your list, I think it is not very
    effective.

However, should you really want to do it, you may try at "fiverr.com". You can get it at $5. But you have to be cautious in selecting the appropriate service provider. You just have to sift through good ones, but the mediocre ones.

@ yestyle! it is hard to tell whether likes are real or not. There are several people offer Facebook likes on different sites like fiverr, uselikes and so on but remember
    1. If you will get real likes the target audience may not be relevant with your fan page and 2- there is a chance that Facebook place a penalty on your page if you have received lots of likes at once or within a very short time span. I have used fiverr once
i do received several likes but Facebook placed a penalty on my page for two months and i couldn't post anything on my wall for almost 8 weeks. so make sure what you are going to use.

It might be hard for the average Facebook user to tell whether or not the likes on a page or real or fake, but Facebook claims to be able to tell the difference. And, who knows how that is done but if you're putting a lot of time and money into building a page, it's not really worth it to then throw it all away on fake Facebook likes just because you (or whoever it is) can't get 1k likes a day. Slow and steady might be the boring way to build a Facebook fan following but it's the safest.

I wouldn't like a page that hasn't been liked by anybody. The more likes you have the more trust you will get from new people. So, to my knowledge, buying facebook fans at the beginning is not a bad idea to show other facebook users that you have got some people.

These like are fake like and will not help to drive you traffic or revenue. However it would be helpful to buy a little no. of likes at the initial level and then approaching the page to targeted customers to make a good impact on them.

My boss once bought 1K Facebook likes for a company page I manage but after a period of one month the subscribers gradually decreases for over 50%. The sad part is most of the subscribers/likers are from different countries and not on the geographic area/country I want the company page to be promoted!

One quick question though, does number of subscribers on your fb page affect the SERP ranking of the website itself?

I would actually suggest that don't buy likes. Because they are kind of a waste of money. You can get more likes yourself if you use proper techniques for getting more and more likes.
To get more likes there are various ways. On a forum i read that a guy did this thing and his likes sky rocketed. He PMed some pages asking them to to promote his page, in exchange of him promoting their page along with. But he said that don't ask just any other random page, look for pages who have almost the same likes as you do and ask each other to help you. And also make sure that you both are related in the industry. That also helps.

Giving an initial boost to your fanpage is OK. Even if you get like 1-5,000 inactive fans, it's not a big deal, but will make your fanpage look more popular.

You can also get 100% active fans which are click jacked. THose will be 100% real people, who didn't realize they liked your page.

PM and I can help for both of these.

How will you explain or justify having 5k fans for your page when no one is commenting on the page. That's an obvious sign of paid likes and will look suspicious.

I really think your credibility comes from your content and not the number of likes. Treat this like list building because that's what it really is. Getting a like is someone "opting in" to your content essentially. I would stick with not buying likes and using FB to network. Comment on popular pages in your niche. As you provide value, people will like your stuff. Be confident in who you are and it will radiate in your posts and other content. That will be your credibility. And have fun with Facebook or you can get burned out.

Likes you buy are usually from accounts from arab countries. The provider of the likes will probably get these accounts banned after a while. It's better to have just a few accounts and suggest a certain page to all the friends of your accounts. If you have like 5 accounts with 5000 friends, then you can send a private notification to 25.000 people asking to like the by you chosen page. The likes will be real then. You can do that in one click with my software btw.

If you are going to buy likes the best way to know for sure if they are real or not is to simply create a Facebook ad for your page and buy likes directly from Facebook. Don't buy likes from anywhere else - they are bound to be fake.

Which is better, to have a 1,000 fans that never interact with your page or 100-200 real fans who always interact with your page?

I used free social media promotion websites to boost my Facebook fans... and guess what? Most of the likes were fake and now I am trying to decide if I should delete the page or not.

If you are going to buy likes, buy them from Facebook.

If you want to buy likes to provide credibility to your site, then just buy one gig from Fiverr for probably a thousand likes. But keep in mind these likes are not going to do anything for your fanpage other than showing people that your fanpage has likes. After that, you should advertise on Facebook to increase your following. If your page is new, you can buy FB AD credits cheaply on the internet to use. Use these to build up a fanbase and go on from there.

Ok I'm a little confused. When you say you want likes for your site? Are you talking about you website or a facebook fan page. Because those are two different things.

If you'er talking about a facebook fan page then I wouldn't go the buying likes rout. Spend the money on advertising like some of the others have said already.

But when it comes to webpages it's a little more difficult to do with advertising on facebook. Spiking up your likes for webpages can give great social proof for your visitors. I say it may be worth a shot.

Be careful though. If you're buying likes out side of facebook themselves chances are They're fake. That could mean hot water with facebook and/or goolge.

Don't buy facebook likes from Fiverr or any other service provider, all these are fake and you get no benefit from them. If you really want some goog facebook likes then try to advertise your page with facebook advertising.

Buying fake likes, is good only when u start a new page and u want to make it look "active", so it won't be difficult for the users you really want to connect to, to join your page. And we're talking, only for 500 to 1000 likes, no more. Why? Because too many fake likes can totally destroy your effort to engage with the real fans and this is why you created a page at the first place.

The other way is to rely on facebook itself and create an Ad Campaign. You will just set some filters like country, age, interests, etc. and let facebook spot the right audience for you and promote your page. Unfortunately, there more and more voices lately, saying that fb advertising is not that effective, check this vid for example:

So, trusting Facebook to run your campaigns, is not a good idea either.

There is only one way to go when comes to FB advertising: Custom Audiences. Do a research on your niche, find relevant pages and groups, use data extracting tools to get these UIDs, upload them on your Power editor and u just created a highly relevant audience for your promotion.

Safest and most effective way to advertise on FB.

You can only get real likes through social syndication and running contests really. Anytime you can buy a package of likes your really buying fake shares no matter what they tell you. With real likes you usually cannot name a number because real people will decide if they want to like it. Otherwise social syndication connects people who already agree to share and you can get some kind of number depending on how big the network is.

You should definitely NOT buy facebook likes - Facebook has an algorithmn for displaying fan pages content, and if you have a fan page with low engagement then less fans (and friends of fans) will see your posts.

So if you buy facebook likes they are of course fake, therefore non of these fans will engage with your posts and it will just have an overall negative effect on your page.

Don't buy Facebook likes. It simply doesn't work. Most of these likes are FAKE and they don't engage with your contents. If you are just interested to increase the number of your likes, you may try it. But remember that you are not building a business around your page.

If you want to build a business around your page, it's better to go for high quality likes from people who are interested in your topic. Try Facebook advertising. It will take time to grow. But believe me this is what you actually need, not some FAKE likes.

Okay I seem to be questioning if I should do this or not also, I am thinking that when launching a new website - instead of it saying '4' people like this.. it could just as easily say 10,000 people like this.

I know the likes have no value other than visual appeal but If I had the option of buying from two identical sites and the only difference was the huge amount of Facebook likes on one site, I would go with the sheep...

Anyone else thinking this way or am I being lead astray

You should be carful, facebook are cracking down on automated bots that provide likes - all fiverr sellers are using these.

There are a FEW (Not many at all) genuine sites that do use real profiles and genuine advertising methods to bring them to your page.

I know a few sites I have ran some successful campaigns through. If your interested I don't mind sharing which websites are safe to use. Whatever you do take care when purchasing facebook likes and other social media services, as twitter and facebook etc are cracking down on these hard.

    I wouldn't suggest buying likes.

    Engagement is the key!

Many users still aren't aware but likes don't have real value any more. Especially with new Facebook Algorithms, pages don't need to have five million likes anymore. Yes, I can see the point in Social Proof, but where is your social proof when you have 50 000 likes and no real comments or clicks on your posts.

You don't have use of faking at all. At the end of the day, you still need to run your Google Analytics (or any other tracker software) and see that your fake likes didn't cause clicks to your links.

    Results - money wasted away.

    But,

Buying likes is a good way to get a good kick start for your page, however you still need to work hard on bringing in organic traffic aswell. Be wary of buying from sites like fiverr.com as facebook are cracking down on botted accounts, I know people who have had their accounts banned. I have ran 3 successful campaigns through Fans Blaster HQ who run genuine advertising campaigns to source their followers, because of this you do get some followers drop off, but they have over delivered on all 3 occassions to me. I am now gaining a steady spike in organic followers and my followers are very responsive. If your starting out and wanna get a good head start, use this technique, I wouldnt be buying followers once you have a few thsouand followers though and the interaction on your page is really strong.

If you want your page to look popular then go ahead and buy the likes, but part from a little social proof they won't give you much.

I always look at the amount of people 'talking about' a page to gauge its popularity so fake likes won't help you with this.

Fake likes will always disappear after a while. Real likes are good for their "face value" of making your page look popular and established and you may get some real customers/sales/leads from them too, but these should only be seen as an unexpected bonus.

Posting great content daily is the way to capitalize on any real likes that you do buy, or generate naturally. It's all about content in the end.

    Hi,
Yes, we can easily buy facebook likes by contacting facebook customer support. Or
There are a number of websites that offer to sell Facebook Likes. Just search "Buy Facebook Likes" on Google and you'll find a long list. Before writing this, I did some research on the top websites where you can buy Facebook Likes. Basically the premise with these sites is that you pay them a fee and they add Likes to your Facebook Page or website.

Did you mean buying from third party vendors like from contractors from Fiverr? Those are definitely "Fake" likes. They are generally cheap but it won't benefit you any good. Only buy likes from Facebook. When you're log into your fan page, there's a link somewhere in the page where it says "promote your page". Use this feature to get more likes from REAL people.

Will share my experience with buying Likes. I went to Fiverr and checked out some of the gigs.. some looked more reliable than others. However, they're all shit. Now, I wasn't innocent as I knew this beforehand, but I wanted to get something on the page so it doesn't look empty.

I got ~ 700 likes, which shortly after sending positive feedback (to the seller), decided to wear off. It made me a little upset (I knew they won't last, but this was an obvious ripoff) so I complained to the seller and suddenly some of them came back and I also received a refund (LOL). As for real/fake. It could be that they're not fake. They are real people originating from stupid 'secret' Facebook groups, where they trade links for Fiverr and websites alike, helping one another milking their customers in return for shitty Likes. I bet if you sample one of those profiles, you will find they like contradicting things. It's one of those things that blogger pointed out in regards to buying Likes from FB (that are allegedly coming from click-farms). It's probably the same indicator here.

Well anyway, don't waste your money on it, even if you want "something". Apparently, if you target 3rd worlders on FB ads, you can get as low as 2c per like, and they gain up very quickly. Also guess what? They engage. Not USA quality engagement, but hey! better off with some engagement than no engagement. If you setup the ad real good, you can get down to 1c PL and that means 10,000 (real and engaging Likes) for 100$. I don't think you can get real REAL Likes for cheaper than that.

If you still insist on buying likes, better go to sites like addmefast.com or youlikehiots.com and you will get free likes which are the same (even better) as the bought likes. You will just spend a few minutes or 15-20 min a day on these sites and you will again get likes about 100 daily.

Obviously. They're generated very cheaply. Unless there's a mechanism to get real likes, they're going to be totally fake.

You can sort of "buy" legitimate likes by running FB ads for your page, or arranging a competition with prices that are good enough.

    Hi Everyone,

You should never buy facebook likes, here is why ?
    1. Most of the likes are NOT from Human..fake
    2. Okay...lets say if people likes your page what next...they liked your page because you paid them. They are never going view and responce any of your post.

Here are few tips which might help you to Get more Likes: First of all design your facebook page like a professional like
    1.add social media tabs
    2.sign up form
3.custom tabs and the most importanta create a good looking timeline pic

Now if you want to promote your page, please do it in legit way....use facebook to promote and if your page looks good you can get 100 likes for only 1 dollar ...its happaned in my case.

If you have any problem customizing your facebook fan page..you might wanna check my blog, I have written almost everything which you'd need to customize your facebook fan page like a professional one and they best part is "I used only free ways to customize my page"

    Hi guys,

Here are few tips which I am using for all my 10 pages and my fan following is growing and growing. Hope you'd find it helpful.

    Legit Tips:

    1. Change your Facebook page URL:

Well first of all you should change your facebook page URL to a custom URL something Like this facebook.com/yourcustomURL.

    2. Customize your page like a professional:

This one is must, Only having a facebook fan page is not enough for your blog/website/business, you got to do same serious customization like...

    a) Creating a cool looking timeline pic
    b) Add other socail media Tabs like twitter and youtube.
    c) Sign Up form so that people can subscribe to your email list. In this way, you can also build your Email List.
    d) Add "Visit My blog or website" custom tab
    e) Write description about page and do forget to add your blog and website URL in that and Make it sort and precise.

    3. Post during Peak hours:

I mean how can you expect someone to like your page when they are sleeping or doing other stuff ????

To find out the "peak hour", post 2 and 3 content at different time and check on what time your post is getting more responce. Note that time and try to post only that time.

    4. Be consistent.

If you are posting only one post per day, make sure do that because it may be chance that your followers are waiting for your content.

    5. Do not buy facebook likes:

Now if you want to promote your page.....do it in legit way. Hire facebook page....hahahaha Good line "Hire facebook"...okay hire facebook to promote your page.

I promoted my 3 pages using facebook and i can tell that its really cheap(100 likes for only 1 dollar) and your going to get quality followers.

    6. End your post with ?????

Yes this always works, end your post with one or two questions and let your followers answer then.

You'd see that sometime your one post can create one "war room" where your followers are fighting with each and other......and you are going to love that .

    2.Tricks :

Now as you know, "too much honesty can kill you", its time to learn some tricks.

I think you have already heard about like exchange websites....if not simply search on Google.

If you are using any of these website, here is one tips that you may find interesting.

As you know all like exchange website are providing affiliat program and they are asking you to share their links on facebook, twitter, google.....blah blah...

just share that link on your facebook account and then add that post to those website for sharing. got my point or not ,

okay let me explain one more time.

Whatever like exchange website you are using right now, it is also giving you their affiliat program...right?

Share your affiliat program on your facebook timeline and then add this post to your like exchange website for sharing....now two thing is going to happen.

    1. if someone is going to sign up through you post, you'd get extra points for it.
    2. Other people are sharing your stuff so it may be chance that their friends are going to like you page.

Ohhh boyyyy, I can't believe, I have written this much.....okay guys one more

    Last Tip

if you'd face any problem during your facebook page customization, you can visit my blog because i have written everything which you are going to need for your page customization. And the best thing is, you can customize your page for FREE by using my methods.

    Hope you liked it.

Facebook found a powerful tool to fight the likes-sellers. Indeed, why letting others make money on your service if you can do it on your own.

Now it's social behaviour factors. If your likes that you've bought, the people who are behind them, unsubsribe fom your page, don't follow updates, don't share and re-post it, then your FB rating goes down, it is purposless.

So the tool that is offered to you instead are diffeent FB ads options which are aimed at attracing ACTIVE USERS which is much more important than just 'likes'. Because you need social activity around your blog.

It's costly. Yet you can find another way and simply start to fill your page with relevant content.

I have observed and studied the impact of fake likes bought from a company vs bought from fb ad promotion. Difference lies in the fact that when you do FB post to reach out to your fans - for fake likes ( it reaches out to 2 or 4% audience) and in case of likes generated through promotion - reach is 25 to 30%. Here i am assuming that quality of post is same in both cases.

2nd thing is in case of fake likes there is high chance of 50% of audience going and un liking you in 3-4 months time and where the source is genuine - figure will not be more than 2-5% ( assuming you don't do something which is against rules of the game).

    Hope helps.
    Thanks

I wouldn't buy any likes. Seo experts often say that quality prevails quantity, so in my view it is better to have 10 or 100 natural likes from real people (that you can easily get within some time) that to buy 1000s of likes in an instance. Besides, google is becoming more sophisticated so there is no guarantee that buying links will not hurt your web-site in the future

I think, It's not good to buy Facebook likes because if your posting uses full and informative content, then you will get automatic likes to your fan page. So try to post more attractive and eye caching images, with latest updates and get likes from real followers.

If you buy likes, you'll be getting a lot of fake likes. These harm your page reach. If you have 1000 fake likes, that's a 1000 likes who don't care about your business and don't interact with your content. Because of this, your page reach goes down. Better to have fewer likes and higher reach so that you reach real people.
Run targeted ads campaigns, encourage your followers to share and repost your content, set up contests and offer freebies and you can get a real likes and build a huge follower base.

Anyone seeing your page can tell whether you have real likes or fake. So, someone who is even a bit aware about this fact, can easily predict your reputation and you stand chances of loosing your genuine audience. The most important point to judge whether a page has real or fake likes is by seeing the engagement. (how many users are 'talking about' the page). If a page has 5K likes and there are only 5-50 talkin about, surely 50-80% likes are FAKE!

But, if you still insist..read on...

Balancing act : initially buy some likes- 500-1000 and then start making some real activity on your page, post some cool and genuine content, talk to your fans and share things consistently and after some time your page would be wearing a REAL look!!

According to me buying likes or visitors on Facebook is a bad idea. It is a harmful decision for your business. It's also dependent on your need. For brands, authenticity is huge, Trust is huge. You have to be more trustworthy instead of being shady. Grow your fan on the bases of good old fashioned way. Engage peoples via your social media platforms, make your good social presence, create good content that makes actual human's 'like' your post.

When you buy Facebook likes don't expect that you're buying REAL people who will truly engage on your page. Obviously they are mostly fake accounts as "dummy accounts". Likes will be gone in a few days and you'll be suffering your graph search insights pretty fast.

    Don't do it

Buying Facebook fans and likes will increase the number of your fans, but you may end up being in more trouble: it could kill your page by destroying your Edgerank score.

Edgerank is used to determine if your content is worth being shown to Facebook users. If you fans are interacting with your posts then your rank goes up and is displayed to more person on their news feed.

Most purchased fans, however, don't interact, which will cause your Edgerank to fall below standards, making Facebook to think that your content is too horrible for anyone to read it.

I always considered that using Facebook Ads is the best and the only safe way to get more likes. To avoid fake profiles to like your Fb page, you should choose (after you target the audience accordingly to your needs/niche), under section "Behaviors" next options: Online spenders, Online spenders (Engaged) or Online spenders (Active) (so you're sure the likes come from real and good Fb profiles).

The main disadvantage is that the cost per like will increase a little...

Sounds good to get fake facebook likes. I am still using this type of methods until now because its to hard to get real likes if you don't want to spend $$$...

Fake facebook likes only harm to your site if the all likes is gone. But if your fake likes still appears to your fpage this will not harm instead to bring you on the top of Google and this is a big beneficial.

    This is proven by me.

According to me buying traffic is not a good idea. You have to work for your website with your own and promote it to social networking sites. I think you have to use SEO if you want to get more traffic and yes sometime fake Facebook like also work, but it is for short time only. Make your post more attractive and knowledgeable, use unique contents these will be helpful for you to get more likes on Facebook.

For one of my sites, I did Facebook ad campaign couple of years back, but didn't found it to be of much use or profit. It may be just me or the niche!

As for Fiverr, I once added few hundred "likes" to one of my clients' Facebook page, strictly on their insistence. They wanted to show off their Facbook fanpage popularity, but this I would definitely advice against.

The solution lies in rolling out "contagious" (viral-worthy, if you like) Facebook posts. Content is the indisputable king.

I don't think buying facebook likes is a good idea. Also you can get like by simply promoting your page or site in groups. Join groups and request them to visit your site and if they find it useful and interesting then ask them to like your site. Try this and see if this works.

The short & simple answer to this question is Don't do it. Don't buy Likes.

Here are some reasons why you shouldn't but Facebook likes.

    1) When you buy Facebook Likes, you are paying a service to load up your Page with Likes from fake Facebook profiles. You will never hear from these people again. They aren't people at all.

    2) There is absolutely no value in this. You're throwing your money away.

    Here are some alternatives:

    1) Promote your page online
    2) Invite relevant people
    3) Run contests and offers

I think it's very tempting to buy Facebook likes, especially when you see that your Facebook page is not doing so well. But in the end you will not reach your goal, because those people aren't real. I've seen pages with more than 10.000 followers but with 0 engagement on their posts. A good alternative is to use Facebook ads, but what do you do when you don't have the budget for it?

We buy Facebook likes for our social media account because we think that it will help to look our account more professional and may help in our business purpose but many times we forget to check the site from which we are buying likes that whether it is genuine or not. If you're going to buy anything - buy advertising on Facebook - run a LIKE campaign. There are lotsa warriors who've done FB WSOs - I liked FB Ads Class. If you run ads to your fan page you can get some really cheap clicks and of course, you'll also be potentially and most likely getting likes from folks who you might be able to turn into prospects or customers later on. If you've got money to spend, you can even send solo traffic to your FB page - if you just want some LIKE activity.

Buying likes from an outside source will result in a bunch of worthless bot likes that pump your page count up, but kill your engagement, making it less likely your ACTUAL fans will see your posts. Facebook like campaigns have brought me a number of highly-engaged likes that are eating up the products I'm delivering them like crazy.

Once you've built your page up a bit, viral posts will start getting you organic likes. I've paid for around 3,000 likes this week on one of my pages and have received a total of more than 6,000 likes. I'm paying a penny per like, so with the organic likes my cost per like averages out to half a cent.

The best part is they're engaging with my content. I'm getting likes, making sales and banking way more than I'm spending on likes every day. You won't get that from like farms or Fiverr gigs.

I'm wondering how to lower the cost of my FB ads? So, what makes the diff? If you add interests? Or, maybe change the geographical locations you market to? I'm trying to keep down the cost to something like you're doing... Any advice? Thanks

It varies from campaign to campaign. When the ads I'm running are too expensive, I'll try the following things to lower the cost of the ad:
        • Change the image attached to the ad.
        • Narrow down the targeting of the ad.
        • Change the type of ad.
        • Change the call to action.
        • Kill the campaign and start a new one.
        • Create a Facebook page and build it up before attempting to target the same market.

Of the items mentioned, creating a new Facebook page and building it up takes the longest, but if your budget is big enough and you're in a large enough niche market, you can build a page in a few days with bought organic likes. You can then target your page members in the ad and you'll know you're targeting people interested in what you're selling.

I'd say save your money. With the algorithm, less and less people will see your content anyway unless you invest in ads or post boosts.

i see some say buying Facebook likes is sleazy? That makes no sense at all. So having a billboard, flyers, an ad in a paper must also be sleazy? It's business, you want to present your business to as many people as possible. Like it or not, "Likes" are how people show there interest in a page. Whether it is placed in front of them organically or via paid placement, each person still has the option to like it or not and move on!

Are you sure buying Facebook likes isn't just a little deceptive? As you are trying to trick people into thinking your page is liked by many others in hopes they will like the page too. And, even if this isn't deceptive, what purpose would fake Facebook likes serve (if not for tricking someone)? The likes are not coming from a real account or from real people who like the page. They are generated by bots or other artificial means and will only get that page owner in trouble with Facebook.

A customer is NOT a random person who has nothing better to do than hang out on Facebook all day clicking the 'like' button.

Those random people on Facebook are not your leads, subscribers or customers.

Real customers who have paid money for your product and are happily using it, do not care how many likes you have on your Facebook page, only what your product can/will do for them.

Your REAL customers are worth gold and you don't want to lie to them, even a little, not even with Fake Facebook Likes.

If they find out, they'll say "If he lied to me about that little thing, what big things is he lying about?".

Don't say Facebook won't find out, they're deleting the fake Facebook likes as we speak.

And, you can read about that on any major webmaster forum, even the ones that promote fake Facebook like services.

.60 per like is way too expensive...

Test different ads for small amounts of money. Don't up the amount you're spending until you have a clear winner. I rarely end up paying more than .02 to .03 per like and have bought a bunch of likes from Facebook at a penny each.

        I don't think so.

I think if you try to post something on your page, you are going to find that out.

I actually "like" pages of my "friends".

I set the notification so I receive their post.

I click "like" on their post if I think it is good. Sometimes, I comment on.

        You should test like that.

Post and see if anyone like or check it.

If you receive a comment or a like in your post, it works.

I am happy to "like" your page if it is a good one.

So, PM me with the page.

If you're just trying to make your page look popular to others who might really want to like your page, then fake likes are a temporary fix, at least until Facebook figures out what you did. If they realize you have fake likes or tried to manipulate the like system on Facebook, your like button on the page could be disabled. And, it says so in the Facebook TOS.

I am not sure this way is effective because more people only click like for me but not in my niche then it is not useful, right?

        It can be useful.

Not most people who like something talk about it all the time.

Here is a tip for you.

Do people who "like" Pizza Hut on FB talk about Pizza?

They have group about it if you search for Pizza Hut on FB and click on the group button.

        So, think about at.

I have just figure that out so that is my advice to you.

        Entertainment is the key.

It sound like a chore for many people but not for me.

        I am over with it.

I have a group helping me in LinkedIn.

If you want more help, how about give my group a chance.

Why do you want to be in the forum where people only try to spam you with so many stupid comments?

        Think about that.

Someone already talk about it and people just repeat it to get traffic.

If you don't like spam, my group is the best place for you.

Like others before have said, buy some FB likes to build some interest in your page, because honestly if you visited a page that had only 2 likes on it how long would you stick around and would you ever revisit it? Engaging your audience is the name of the game, but you need that audience to do so.

You'll know if they're real, targeted likes by how engaged they are with the content of your page. If you buy a bunch of likes and get no engagement from your new fans, you'll know the likes were worthless. I'd stick to buying them from Facebook.

Sometimes, just asking others to like your page on a forum is the easiest way to get easy likes. Those likes are just as legitimate as any. Asking in Facebook groups where likes are exchanged is another option. There are even Facebook groups where people exchange likes or at least ask others to like the page. If these groups were doing anything against TOS of Facebook, they would get shut down, but so far, there are many going.

Answer is simple - put FB ads and then almost all people will be real. You can buy 1000 fake likes if you want for the beginning, but later try with FB ads.

I disagree. Buying fake likes doesn't establish anything, other than falsely pumping up your page. I'll take a fanpage with 500 engaged followers over one with 10K fake likes any day of the week. Spend your money buying likes from Facebook. You'll be better off in the long run.

      But what would you prefer?

A fanpage with 500 Real Likes or a fanpage with 10,500 likes where 10,000 are fake and 500 are real?

Believe me you would take the second option.

Believe me, no I wouldn't. All of my fanpages are full of likes that are either gained organically or purchased from Facebook and all of them are highly-engaged with my content. You can always tell a site that's purchased likes from an outside source. They have hundreds of thousands of fans and only get 10 to 20 likes on their posts. Having a bunch of fake likes would kill engagement and makes no sense from a true business standpoint.

I do a lot of my business marketing my products to the actual fans on my fanpages. Why in the world would I want 10,000 fake likes that I have to pay for ads for? I'd much rather pay for likes from Facebook that are primarily from real accounts than to have a page that's been artificially pumped up for no reason other than to appear legitimate to someone on the outside looking in.

Not to mention all the money I would have wasted buying fake likes could be used to buy real likes. What benefit does having a page with 10,000 fake likes carry with it that I wouldn't get from a smaller page with real likes? My customers take my pages seriously no matter how many fans they have. I've started advertising to pages that have a zero fan count and have built them up to thousands of real fans in a week or two. If you're posting and/or selling stuff people like, there's no need to create a false sense of legitimacy through use of fake fans.

It's easy. Buy likes from Facebook. Forget any other place to buy likes exists. Optimize your LIKE campaigns to ensure you get them for pennies. Build up 10K to 20K likes on a page. Boost posts to those likes. Social Media presence established.

Buying Facebook likes is not a good idea. If you are looking for popularity then may be it can help to a extend, but if your content is not good enough, nothing can help you. Even the n number of likes will not be of any use. Also, you will lose out money. If you are looking for real traffic , then definitely look for another option, because these likes you are buying are not going to help you.
I would suggest you to try to keep it real, look for genuine relevant content, you will have to wait, but if the content is good, you will get likes and shares, and this time it will help you grow.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[9460268].message }}

I see this question a lot. If you are simply trying to generate the appearance of popularity, this is an excellent way to do that. But whenever you buy facebook likes, there are two things you need to keep in mind.

The individuals who "like" your page are not interested in what your page is really about; the only thing they want are the points or exchange likes they receive for liking your page. Thus, none of those people are going to interact with your page. When real people visit your page with say 10k likes but no comments, it's pretty apparent the "popularity" is contrived and this may actually hurt you in the long run.

Another thing to consider is that with fake likes, your Facebook insights become worthless. Facebook insights tell you which posts your fans are interacting and sharing and this gives you a gauge to determine which direction you need to go to get better engagement, more traffic and higher conversion rates. But with fake likes, your insights mean absolutely nothing and you have no way to really determine what is and isn't working.

Buying Likes can be super risky. You will get that spike but what happens when the "Real Likes" go away. Are you asking for Micro Commitments? Are you using Viral Images? If you have a post that has the Viral Image and ask for micro-commitments has really helped out a lot with some of my results with pages. Also, I suggest some of the people who have already Liked a post that you TAG them in an occasional post. That will help with your newsfeed and show on their newsfeed.

I wish you luck. I wouldn't risk buying likes. Just spent that money on a super targeted promoted post and you will see some viral activity happening that way.

    Hi yestyle,

I wouldn't recommend buying Facebook likes from ANYBODY unless you just want to artificially make your Facebook page look more popular!

A lot of those who buy Facebook likes complain about the people unliking a short time later, and most of the new likers will not actually get involved on your Facebook page, simply because they are not your targeted audience.

Try promoting a few posts that contain good content for your chosen market. That way you can get more likers who are actually interested in your page!

    Hope that helps

Buying likes is fine if you just want to increase that number at the top of your page, but it wont increase your traffic. Not to mention that a lot of them are unreliable

-But the most important is good content, because ultimately that is what your actual audience, will like/share and keep coming back for.

Bad idea, why? Google uses fan location information to determine your page rank on Google across the world. When I bought 5k fake likes for a website, that turned out to be mostly from india, my website started getting a TON more traffic from Google India. No way this could be a coincidence, so I assume the two have a lot to do with each other.

If you buy fake, make 100% sure they are from your target audience country.

if you are aiming to sell products from fb page that's a preposterous idea. Because most of the likes you would get from fake ids what worth not even a single penny. Better focus on creating quality content and run an fb campaign to get likes. The process may takes time ,but eventually you would get real trustworthy people whom you may convert to loyal customer.

      You are partly correct here.
Having an increased amount of likes on your page will entice more people to engage and click 'like' too.
I say this to my clients. If you saw 3 people cross the street you would not take a lot of notice, however if 3000 people crossed the street, you would notice and may follow (like) them in what they are doing. It is the sheep effect. Try it your self! When you are at the traffic lights on red, point into the sky, watch all other drivers / passengers look up.
People can't help 'following' the crowd.
Only use real responsive likes and you will be safe as far as FB is concerned. Verifiable active people is the key here. Spread out over 48hrs or more!
We always include a piece of advise to our clients, and it is thus : We advice them to post an offer prior to initiating a 'like' purchase, the offer states an offline marketing campaign.
This tells Facebook if they come checking that you have produced an offline campaign for your services which is the reason for the quicker than usual 'Like' increase.
There are Buzz terms to use in the post, but that information is for customers only!

Just do S4S. It doesn't work for any niche/page/whatever, but it can be really effective. Especially at first, when you just started. Once you get some 5k followers/fans, your page will grow by itself, as long as you post interesting stuff.

It's really not that hard at all. Reaching your fans, well, that's another story.

Buy them by all means but only 1k max as they are only good for a bit of ''window dressing'' to get a new fan page looking good but they are mainly bots, people in the far East, India, Pakistan, etc or are empty accounts and will not interact with or buy from you.

Also, people are more savvy now and they will see these Likes for what they are i.e. fake Likes and they will also see you as not worthy of Liking and so they won't do so!!

I'm going to go out on a limb and disagree with many people on this thread, and say that it's perfectly fine to buy Facebook likes.
Where you buy your likes from is a different story. There are totally legitimate companies that sell real likes; for a premium price, of course. They expose your link to real people, and you won't find them selling 10,000 likes at a time, either.
You won't get in trouble with Facebook for these likes, but there are other kinds of 'robot' likes that WILL. Just be careful.

I don't see any reason for not buying them to prime the pump. I used to work for a social media agency that would manage Facebook pages and I swear all the clients cared about was if their likes went up week over week. One week we offered to buy them for the clients (not much, around 1000) and they were all super happy. We did see that after they had a decent amount it was easer to attract other real likes.

Its kinda like the crowd in the street scenario. If you see a crowd gathering you often look more intently to see whats going on. BTW, I have had some bad experiences in buying them. I sent my money in and got nothing. I bought some lately from Likesboss.com - Social Media Services - LikesBoss.com and they delivered the package we wanted pretty quickly.

I suggest you not to buy Fake likes. It is better to have one real like than 100 fake likes. So I suggest you not to go for Fake likes. You can hire a freelancer to collect real likes. If you have few Facebook accounts with a lot of friends, than you can invite them to like your page. It is one of effective ways to get real likes.

    Hello,

They're fake most of the time. I had saw one video on youtube. That guy was telling to his viewers that how fb is cheating to there users.

Facebook will definitely give you likes for what you pay. But the users might click like button like this only. They might not be really interested in your page.

For example :- if your page is about tech and you buy likes from facebook. Then facebook will give you the like of people that won't even like to read about tech. They like to read more about hollywood.

So, that kind of user is not useful for you.

    Hope this helps !

hi. in my opinion there is no need to buy the likes. You must Boost your videos and post by purchasing the Facebook credits. It may help you to get the natural likes along with the boost of post reach. buying the Facebook likes is not good as they are almost fake and according to face credibility it's not good.

    Hey Yestyle,

I am going to say no. And here's why:

What I'd do instead is create a squeeze page and drive traffic to the squeeze page instead and create a free offer to give away in exchange for their email address and create a followup series using Aweber and make your followup series super valuable so a lot of people open your emails and just promote your Facebook page inside your emails.

This way instead of your core being Facebook it'll be email. Way much more stable! And you don't have to ask Facebook fans to give your email, but instead send the people whom you already have emails for to your Facebook page which is A LOT easier!

    Just my 2 cents..

    Hope that helps

Yes, you can buy likes to kick-start your page.

Thing is, people are much more likely to like your page if they see you have a few thousand likes already, than if you only have a handful of likes.

I mean, anyone here, are you more impressed by a page that has 50,000 likes or a page that has 500 likes? Say they have the same content exactly, which one are you more likely to like?

That said. If one does buy Facebook fan page likes, don't get comfortable thinking that that's all you need to do, or thinking that you actually accomplished much. Buying likes should be a part of a plan. Say:

    1. Create Fan Page
    2. Post Profile/Cover Photo, Fill About Us section, etc
    3. Post some statuses and pictures on the page
    4. Buy 5,000 likes
    5. PROMOTE PAGE (and this is a huge topic then, about getting real actual likes).

One other thing that helps you get real likes is to simply Invite all of your friends to like your page. And then if you have friends who'd help you out, you can get them to invite all of their friends to like your page. Many will like it, and you'll get some real likes there. Especially if you have a hot girl friend with a large Facebook account of loyal whipped men.

I mean, money rules the world, but pu**y rules the money. So... yeah...

Well in my opinion if you buy likes to place and Facebook widget on your site so that others can see how much likes you have, like using it as a social proof, then definitely it's a good idea to pay for some cheap fake FB likes.

I once saw a local product fan page someone was trying to boost with likes and it looked kinda awkward to see a page for a local brand that have 90% of likes from people from India.. So if you can choose, invest only in likes from a specific country.

    Hi,
The business of purchasing likes has been on for a while. At first, i also thought that it was a scum until my friend proved me wrong. There are legit companies that sell facebook likes and that is their major business. However, everything has its own challenges, today technology has made conmen move to the next level. Just be careful of the source or company you are buying the likes from. Be sure to find some testimonials before putting your money on trial. It is always a painful experience loosing money online when you had planned and thought the deal was so good.

Generally not a good idea to buy likes, Facebook has a lot to do with content and getting likes for the content you post. Assuming you buy your likes and they are all fake profile accounts, you content will not be liked or shared on Facebook and therefore it's really pointless in that you're not building a true social media presence.

When it comes to the topic of buying likes I will say that is a waste of time because 99 percent of these likes are fake. Best used to run fb ads or promoted posts. However you can get an initial amount of likes if you want as no one will have to be that first like..

In my point of view that buying fake likes will not be helpful. So it is better to buy Facebook account with more than 4000+ real friends and invite them to like your official page.

From me, its a straightforward no...

You'll find that bvy engaging with good content, either video or written, and sharing it with your followers, you get more credible likes that way &... quite possibly a viral effect.

I am always against this issue of people buying facebook likes. The best way for you to get natural likes for you to engage in a very active social marketing of your facebook page. There are agencies that have specialized in making a great milestone in your facebook page without really getting the likes that are dormant and will be of no help to you. Better pay such like persons rather than you going for the likes. It is always a very dangerous move.

I saw people buying FB likes, twitter adds etc by Fiverr gigs. I think after a few weeks these extra people, likes get realized and quickly start working against your account. So my take, keep organic and build slowly...much safer.

I've spent many thousands on buying Facebook likes over the years, and all have been genuine likes bought from Facebook directly. Now here is the rub - Facebook likes are worthless unless they are targeted. Buying rnadom likes from a third-party vendor or even cheap, third-world $0.01 likes from FB directly will get you nowhere. In fact they could even damage your fan page because Facebook's algorithms work on engagment, and cheap likes simply do not engage, and thus eventually no one will see your posts. This isn't hear say either, I've done long-term tests and lost a lot of money testing this theory out.

I would rather have 1,500 highly targeted likes for my budget than 150,000 cheap non-targeted that will kill your fan page beyond redemption.

It's best to hone in on your target audience.

I tried this once for a page not related to my business and against my better judgement and the results were hohum. I bought 1000 Likes from a Sri Lankan and the fb page is an anti-war group, so not so surprising about 30% have remained with the page but only about 2 or 3 of those ever interact with posts.

NO - never buy facebook likes. It's against facebook terms of service and will more then likely get you banned. Build organic or paid facebook ads.

Facebook doesn't distinguish between fake and real likes, and nor do any clients or customers, as they cannot see who are the fans likes of a facebook page

Facebook does not even really care what kind of like/user it is.

Because the more overall likes/users --> the more valuable their brand is considered to be -->
the higher the price of their shares on the stock exchange market
--> the richer the owners of Facebook become

    It's pretty simple and straightforward

If you buy likes on facebook, you dont know the user who has liked your page are your targeted audience or not. So you should use organic way to increase your facebook like. Post fresh & informative content and share some valuable information in communities & groups of people on facebook. This will help you to increase your like and you will get genuine likes & user on your facebook page.

In my opinion, you should think of building likes with paid ads or organically sharing on different platform and being active. Buying likes is an option but be careful. 95% of likes you get are fake sometimes even 100%. You can see changes in likes but what about user engagement it is zero. Also, soon after you purchase and pay you will see downfall in your likes. Buying a like with zero engagement possibility, its your choice to buy it or let go. Depends completely on you.

Here whatever I will tell is completely hypothetical based on some people telling me, you can decide yourself. Buying likes will increase your fan base. Facebook might show your page is suggested pages as per the users taste, they might click on that page and land up to your page and maybe because of high likes chances are you might earn one like from that person which will be counted as organic now. This thing is hypothetical based on my friends assumption which slightly diverts one mind too. Rest is up to you .

    Thanks

Learn from mistake, never buy facebook likes if your doing for main page for your business. Would only worth considering if your purchase like for affiliate product which not long term product. Even this, I would never purchase more than 1000 likes to start. Its far better running ads to get likes even it more expensive, you will get much better audience.

Poor or No engagement: If the majority of fans are fake, then when you publish your best content you will hardly be reaching anyone. When offers are published in your business, it will be a waste of time and there will be no true engagement and no one to reach.

Personally it's really irritating when somebody is asking if he or she should buy likes or not. Social media marketing is not about increasing numbers, you have to drive user engagement to make your company visible for potential customers. You should better invest he money in good quality content or internet monitoring software.

Buying facebook likes is one way to increase your traffic but be careful most of the likes out there are or does not have a good quality. Mostly random people would like your page making it irrelevant. It's a good addition to boost your traffic just keep in mind to be careful with your investment on facebook likes try to take it one step at a time.

There are sellers who provide real facebook likes. But there aren't many sellers with such key quality yet. Those who have got it most times also charge ridiculous amount because they have to deal with a wholesaler who charges them as resellers a high fee.

Paying money for facebook advertising means exactly buying facebook likes.

The two ideas are equivalent and equal.

But now there are very meany reasons why Facebook is not worth it.

Facebook owners are very greedy in charging small businesses for everything.

What is the worst is that it costs a lot to simply send a message to your own fans likes...

If you're planning to build a long-term business then you should aim to have most of your likes come from visitors engaging with your page and liking it. You can certainly buy some likes without it being a problem (especially starting out),but the key will be having fans that return to your page at least once every few days or so.
