How to get invited to Pinterest boards?

Recently i have been invited to post on several boards, is there a way to request to be invited to post as well?

    Sometimes the board creator will include contact request information in the board description.

    If not, you can request an invite as a comment on one of their recent pins.

    I am not really sure but to tell you the truth lately I too have been getting invites and I am not exactly sure how and why they choose me to ask.

    I think that if you have your twitter or facebook account linked to pinterest account has something to do with it ...

      If the group board owners see that you're pinning good stuff they're choosing to invite you to pin on their boards.

    I think that you can pm the pinboard owner to include you. But I have never requested to be invited though. They always invite me first.

    Contacting each other is very difficult - you may leave a comment under someone else's pins or try to contact via Facebook if someone has Facebook account integrated with Pinterest.

    You can also use BoardInviter.com - the platform where you can easily exchange group boards invitations with other pinners.
