Facebook ads only for mobile users?

Just started with facebook ads and as of right now I have 40 visitors on my site and 83% of visitors are from mobile devices and 17% are from tablet visitors.

I just checked my landing page and it's completely unreadable on a mobile device (half the text is covered in black so you can't see it).

So, I have two questions:

1. Is facebook ads only good for getting mobile traffic?
2. How to I make my site look good on a mobile phone? Would making it responsive be enough?

Facebook has Desktop and mobile users. Responsive themes are all you need to make your site mobile friendly.

First, change your ad placement targeting within the power editor to desktop placement, so you can stop wasting money on ads where people (mobile users) can't see your website.

Then, if you want to target people who are on their phones, you can worry about setting up a responsive site or a separate mobile site with script on your normal website that automatically redirects mobile users to the mobile site. You have decide which is best for what you are trying to achieve.

To answer your other question, it's up to you what kind of traffic you want from facebook...any combination of right hand side, newsfeed, mobile or desktop, you just have to learn how to properly set up your ads.

Learn how to use the power editor. It gives you a lot more control and options.
