Hey Warriors,

Is it better to name your fanpage something that is keyword-focused for seo or is it better to just use your product name? Have you had any experience with benefits from using keywords as your Facebook fanpage url?

Thanks in advance!

    product name?
What are you trying to do. What are you selling? Do you have other sources of traffic? ect ect ect.

Likely if its a product, you want to name your FB Page the product/business name.
Do you own the rights to this product, or is it a affiliate deal?

I'm not into fanpages myself but I know someone who managed 7000 likes in 1 week - that's 100% free, organic traffic.

She did this buy targeting trending keywords in her niche. If her niche is designer dogs she would target words, sentences or LSI keywords like "Cute Pomeranians in New York" or something similar.

What do you want have Facebook url or do want to know which kind of name should your Facebook have.
If your Facebook Url is keyword targeted then it will defenitly work by ranking your Facebook Page. But there for you need to have good engaging Facbeook Page with regular porsting and interactings. these all will help your ranking.
And ofcourse your Facebook Page name should have the targeted keyword in it.

The point is that Facebook intends for Pages to authentically represent the identities of one's businesses and brands. So the best option is to choose a username that would describe your company the best way.

That can be your brand name or combination of a brand name with some of your keywords. For example, we chose https://www.facebook.com/WebMeUpSEO (our brand name + keyword).

Just avoid using too generic keywords in your page name. These days pages with generic titles are not favored by Facebook.

I personally rank alot of fb pages in Google and a big key of mine is to always include the keyword once in the facebook page URL, once in the facebook page description, and once in one the posts. Using this strategy + my bulk links packages I've gotten to top 5 for some 30k+ searches keywords in google. Hope this helps you.
