First of all verify your website in google webmaster tools and set geo-targeted location USA. By doing this google gives you weightage to USA location. Then done local listing + profile creation of your website. Also done the social bookmarking of your website.

I think Social Media is a vast platform to get targeted traffic. If you have a big list of friends from USA in Social Networking Sites, then definitely you will get some good amount of USA based traffic.

First you select USA on Google Webmaster and then start back-linking on USA Directories and Social bookmarking Websites. Share your links on social media but USA based.

Post on forums with USA members, join groups with majority americans, include USA in your keywords,join facebook pages with members in the US.

you need to target the keywords which are most searching in USA and write related posts in your blog. Use Google Adwords to Target USA Traffic.

Finding right group boards in facebook or you can use pinterest without any worries, always free US dominated traffic, almost my 70% traffic is from US
And i only use pinterest as my traffic source

Perform guest posting and article marketing to various article directories in order to build high quality back links. Posting varied interesting posts to Facebook, twitting, StumbleUpon and last but not the least Pinterest, for pinning images relevant to your niches can help you a lot. And set your focus on US based location.

You also post ads in US based ads posting sites, form where you get local traffic. And after getting live URL do the social bookmarking of each URL ( bookmarks in top social bookmarking website atleast 10)
