Facebook tabs with embedded pages

Facebook tabs with embedded pages..

Is there a way to do that?

I would like to add a couple of tabs on my facebook pages to have a window directly to my website and to my Google+ page.... Is that possible???

If so, would the embedded page shown as traffic for the search engines??

Any ideas or feedbacks???

Thanks!!!

It sounds like you just need to add the Static HTML iFrame app to your Facebook page - just search in FB for Static HTML. You then need to make sure your website has SSL.

      Thank you...

How do I know if a certain website has SSL?

Would my Google+ page has SSL? How about any other Facebook page?

You will know if you have SSL by typing https://yoursite.xxx on your browser. If you don't get an error and it shows a lock on the address bar, you have SSL encryption. Post the address of your website here and I can check for you.

On another note, I hope your website is responsive because the custom tab has a width of 810 px, so it might cut off your website. You would be better off designing a custom tab with woobox or shortstack and install it on your facebook page

The Static HTML iFrame app lets you remove scroll bars and adjust the width of the page, so you can fit it in easily.

    Thank you guys..

I have a few sites in mind to place in a window with a tab in facebook...

TU -Technical Union | Manufacturers <-- just got SSL for this one
https://plus.google.com/+TuBiz/posts <-- and this one... the idea is to increase followers and +1's from Facebook..

Also looking to embed YouTube and maybe LinkedIn profile with a fangate for that tab..

Can I embed any website for free??? Would it increase ranking and authority?

So far I haven't been able to make it work with some of the statics html apps from facebook...

I am looking at fbappsninja to see if I can build my own app on Facebook...

yep, you can embed any website for free. You can even do it yourself, without going through fbappsninja or woobox. It takes a bit of knowledge but if you follow steps by steps, it is pretty easy.

What do you do to embed a website??

        You don't use any apps??

What instructions are you talking about?

I am using Thunder Penny, but they kind of suck... they want you to buy their https proxies when your website already has https settings...

LeadPages works great for doing this. You just make the page you want people to see and then you can install the tab on your Facebook page.
