Pinterest. Why is it so important to use them?

Why is Pinterest part of the Internet Marketing game? How do we use them and for what?

Pinterest is VERY popular, so anything that's very popular is a good place to market. I think of it as a free billboard. How you use it will depend on what you're marketing. My business involves blogging, so I usually pin an engaging image and then use the link to my blog as the description.

It's part of the game mainly because there it holds a huge audience that is very active. It's especially part of the game for those who work in niches that are very visual or for which they can captivate a person's attention through a picture or video.

While the audience is largely middle aged women, there are all kinds of people on Pinterest. Test it out and see if it works with what you're doing.

Pinterest can bring to your business. Pinterest is about creating conversations. It can be a powerful word of mouth tool – it generates interest in your company and gets people talking about all things relevant to the brand, with the opportunity for content to be shared virally amongst members.

Pinterest is ONLY worth investing time into if your niche is Pinterest-friendly. Generally you need to be in a niche where images in part or in whole can be content people want.

That's just the start. It takes effort and a decent amount of learning to really make it work. If you commit to it, get creative. Make custom images that provide the content people want. Larger images can do well - anything that actually provides content. You can add text to images or create collages or infographics.

Spend some time on Pinterest and get a sense of what types of categories do well. If your niche is a good fit, look for pins that get repinned a lot and make those types of pins.

You'll also need to work on making connections and getting followers.

While it's work, it can pay off big time. Pinterest isn't a focus for me because it works only moderately well in my niche, but I've had some pins go somewhat viral and the resulting traffic can be excellent.

Oh, now Im seeing the big picture after looking around. I've already an account there but didn't use it. With the cartoons i draw I should be able to beak into any niche. I see lots of potential here. More study to do.

I think so to, that there's great potential, especially if you have your own content that you'll put out there. To me, it seems like you have the perfect cards on the table.

If the content you're putting on your site are graphically rich or has images that you want to promote, Pinterest is a better medium than any other social networks. A friend of mine runs a website for promoting his sketches and his own drown comics. He only uses Pinterest for social sharing and receives a huge traffic in return. But when I tried that for my website (video game reviews and news), traffic was barely noticeable. Because my contents are depended on text not graphic oriented.

Oh hot damn! Did I just figure out a way to get huge exposure and followers. Since I draw portraits and caricatures I can look around for Pinterest members with huge stats. Offer them a portrait, caricature or some grpahics bur stats should go up. Am I making sense here?ased content fo rfree in exchange for me putting a URL on the pic. Great way to drum up customers too.

I see now that content is king on Pinterest. People can't wait for that cute dog or cute kitten picture in order to post it. Provide them with that kind of content and you end up being a reliable resource. Am I making any sense here? Like I have products that have cartooon PLR. I can take a toon from that pack that fits a niche or a Pinterest member's board and keepa URl to the product. So if I see that "Mary Jones" has 1,000 followers, I can take a toon from my cache, put a slogan on it like "Mary Jones Rocks" and when she pins it, I get publicity and more.

Pinterest is only thing that worked for me, it has given me the base for my internet marketing career,
But you cannot say that every one who tries will get definite results,
Pinterest is a goldmine and you need to be wise enough to scratch out gold instead of mud and dirt
It takes time and effort and at the end it surely gives you results, Not only i am receiving good passive traffic from pinterest, but i have manged to rank quite couple of pages on Google using only pinterest, which are also receiving massive traffic
So all in all pinterest has been one man show for me!

Wow Xspesos! That's quite an account of success! I'm seeing a ton of potential once I get to know how to upload images with efficiency. Put my urls on the grapphics and so on. If the bulk of Pinterest is middle aged women then I'm good to go. Just draw some cartoons of cute bunnies and babies and maybe pick the top posters to do free cartoons and portraits for. Their traffic and friends will come pouring in I'd wager. I can gather more intelligence on what they want too. The sky's the limit for me if I also do caricatures and editorial cartoons of sports stars. or even music stars and celebs. If people like them they'lll share them. I would love to JV with someone on this. How about it?

Pinterest is now becoming a fast growing social network, It's popularity is the reason why people are chosing it for marketing purpose and business promotion, it also helps in getting traffic. Remember the time when the same happened with facebook?

Okay here are the results in so far. One of my smallest sites I never really developed but has a hot url name just blew up. I posted an animated gif from the site on Pinterest and people are flooding in. However, my bigger sites are seeing small to modest traffic but I found out why. By sheer dumbass luck I had done something with Pinterest months ago and didn't realize what I did. No one ever told me about this strategy and you can't find it anywhere. I used it andl boom! traffic and re-pins are happening. I'm going to try it with all my sites. If this works I feel I can do some serious work with Pinterest.

Wow! I'm watching some stats go through the oof and others creep along but heading upward in just the first day. Now to build a battle plan and study. There's lots of tips on how to optimize Pinterest andeven developers' tools. I see some IM sites there that pull no punches that they're IM. The trick is to et other people to post your pics/pins and then it's a snowball going downhill picking upmore snow and momentum. Glad I have a ton of content I can use and modify for the various niches and that's a cue right there. Niches. There's alowasy some Pinterest star with a site so big other people kow tow to them. They really ae on their A Game but it doesn't take long to catch up if you have the content and time. I've had a couple of people ask me to make content or them like as in cartoons and comic books. That was a surprise. Like five pages with a cliffhanger has peole climbing mountains to get in. So post a cool pic that gets seen and put your hyperlink to your site or product and it should do well. I'm hunting now for products to sell from JVZoo and some of the other marketers in teh JV forums. This is just too cool.
