Feedback on project I am working on

Howdy. Looking for a feedback. So as you all know facebook make money by putting ads on our and friends timelines. It all good, but my personal problem with it - I am not getting a share of it. So this thinking lead me to project I started working on - paidso.com

So it will be simple marketplace where publishers (i.e. you and me, who own facebook page and have tons of friends) will view available ads to post and price offered to post it. Once found - post it and marketplace's robot will keep checking it for 24 hours to make sure it stays on. Your friends sees this post and hopefully generate more revenue for themselves.

What ya think? There is definitely potential conflict of ethics and money making, but if publishers will be offered to post ads like "Today I found new restaurant opened on 6th street named 'Best Restaurant', have anyone been there?" - this should be perfectly fine. And if this will be combined with publishers who lives in area where new restaurant opened - this should give very narrow targeted ad without anyone considering it spam.

I will be really happy to hear what you all think. And in case you want register - after finishing registration you will receive referral link which entitle you to 20% of income of all users referred by you in future.

I think its quite a bad idea considering that Facebooks TOS prohibits using a personal time line for any type of business or money making reason.

Starting a business with the idea of braking the TOS of the platform that it runs on is normally very silly. You might have saved yourself some time wasted by simply spending an hour reading Facebooks TOS.

I did. Here is my thought on it:

      - It is not my service using Facebook, it is publishers will be using it.
      - But most important, it reads "You will not use your personal timeline primarily for your own commercial gain, and will use a Facebook Page for such purposes."

I.e. since I am not using facebook platform and users do not use it primarily for commerce (i probably will put some measures in place to prevent publishers from blasting ads all over their timeline, since efficiency of these would be greatly reduced for obvious reasons) it should be fine in this regards.

      But thank you for feedback!

By the way. Facebook pages and google+ timeline/pages are next in the list of places to publish ads. It is already happening I believe with twitter (i read some articles - celebrities often post paid advertisements on twitter).

any advertising is spamming. This one might be better one because each user will decide what to post. I believe users will be able to balance keeping their timeline nice and also get few extra bucks from local businesses.

Im sorry thats just a silly statement. No one is ever going to consider a banner ad 'spam'. No one is ever going to consider a WSO 'spam'. No one is ever going to consider the ads on the side bar of Facebook pages 'spam'. No one is ever going to consider ... on and on and on. Most advertisement is not spam actually.

You seem to have wanted feedback, you have gotten it, no one who has answered thinks its a good idea. You should just take that feedback. Not try to argue with the people who have given it.

with all respect, this wasn't feedback from you. this was name calling. You guys stated two things that this idea is against Facebook TOS and that this idea is spam.

If you read facebook TOS, you will find that this idea is not against it. I already posted about it above.

As for spam - spam is some kind of posting in bulk. No one going to do bulk postings which usually associated with spam. Bulk postings will damage whole idea. So no, this is not a spam.

So yes, I am still looking for feedback.
