Messaging FB Users

SOCIAL NETWORKS

I know it costs $1 to get inboxed to FB users now and am wondering if anyone has tried messaging people directly to sell a service or product?

I'm targeting a specific job title and get a lot of individual people with this job title so it wouldn't be hard to find people.

I guess my question is has anyone tried this? I'm thinking it might get a negative response like SPAM e-mail or cold calling not sure how many people would appreciate getting an ad in their inbox or if FB would even let me?

Facebook will flag you as a spammer quite fast, when this happens Facebook will still deliver your messages, but they will go to the 'other' folder, which does not trigger a notice.

There is a secret to this process I use it all the time with my website www.mfsocialmedia.com the best way to NOT be marked as a spammer is send direct messages to your niche targetted fan pages instead of personal pages. Here is a screenshot. Send me a message if you need anything. thx

I was actuallyt alking about messaging people directly not pages.

Will I get marked as spam even though I'm paying money for the messages?
