How to generate "likes" on Facebook?

I just started using Facebook for my business, and I only have a few "likes". How can I get more "likes" on Facebook?

  • Your best bet is to identify your target audience and then run a Facebook ad campaign that targets "likes".

    My hyperlocal sports blog is just a few months old and it already receives upwards of 20k pageviews per month during the season. Virtually all of that traffic comes from my Facebook fan page, which currently has just over 1300 fans.

  • Well now a days its to much easy to get lots of like on a FB page within same day with the help of free tools, but that is not useful. Because for business purpose we should to attract or invite that audience only which is related or interested in our business or product. So try to get genuine FB likes from genuine user, you'll get to many likes within a day via free tools but those likes are not helpful for your business leads or improvement.
  • You Can also run a giveaway on your website or fan page that requires people to like your page as a giveaway entry. That could be a good option and you can add different pages or social media accounts like Facebook or twitter. And you can try social media exchange platforms like my website MSocialH
  • Running giveaways will get you likes but they will be low quality likes. Given facebooks algorithm changes, you want people who are genuinely interested in your business to like you. Those are the types that will regularly interact with your brand/site.

    2. You can use all them emails and use then to Target them members to see your Ads from a Ad Campaign.

    (You can have alot more success with that method than just trying to to target people for health niche. For example theres alot involved in health, "doctors","fitness", "protein supplements".)

  • Since you want to increase no of likes on your facebook page, what you need to do is to start a ad campaign that focus on "getting Likes" (2nd option)

    now what you have to do is to filter out what audience do you want to target,
    that totally depends on the nature of business.

    There are segmented audience available. You can select them, and run it.

    • Don't make your page all about you. Only post about yourself on certain occasions. Keep your post on the chosen topics as much as possible. Think of interesting ways to present your information so that people will like it and share it. For every 10 post you can throw in something about yourself so that you can create a familiarity with your fans.

      Use admin tags. You can get more clicks and engagement on your page by signing off of your page. This will effect how viral your page is because it will increase the amount of places people have to click on your post. When you do this Facebook will take notice and you get a higher ranking and more clicks.

      Make sure to ask questions. Don't just put share if you agree or share this if you like. You should create posts with the intentions of having interaction from your fans. When you ask those questions make sure to give a reply to show that you care about your chosen topic and you are there to monitor your Fb page.

      Learn how to effectively network. Go to the most popular niches that are similar to yours and tell the owners of the pages that you will share their page if they share yours. Over time this will be the best free way to get traffic and likes to your page.

      Post good content more often and don't spam! Make sure to post good relevant content at least a couple times a day. If you can post new interesting content every 3 hours to keep your fans engaged that will help your content go viral and get even more free targeted fans. Remember to post once about yourself for every 10 posts.

    • First of all, if you're using facebook for your business do NOT buy likes. 1,000 engaged and active fans/customers will always be worth more than 10,000 that are fake or people who are paid to click the like button.

      "Likes" from FB ads are the fastest but obviously more costly dependent on your niche. As stated before, you could run a giveaway or special offer to hook people in. You could get traffic by reaching out to businesses that are not your direct competition but you share the same customers with and ask them to post on their page (or just post on their walls yourself). ie, a realtor and a mortgage agent or a carpet cleaner. All have to do with houses but most likely do not compete directly.

      Custom audiences are great, but its how you gather the ID's. Searching for people who like weight loss is good. But by utilizing the graph search with a query like "People who like weight loss and also like X" would get you a more targeted list.

  • try fiverr for quick likes, but that wont be targeted. facebook campaign is result oriented, you can target the audience on the basis of interest.

      Look, if you want to run a REAL business, identify your target audience (people who would be interested in your stuff), open your wallet, and launch a Facebook ad campaign that targets "likes". Use targeting to deliver your ads to only those in your target market. Simple as that.

  • The best thing for you to do at this moment is to invest on Facebook ad campaigns. It will help you reach the target audience and once you reach around 10,000 likes. Stop the campaign and post useful content on your page, which will then automatically get shared and you will eventually get new likes.

  • Wolfmmiii is the only one so far that seems to understand that quality over quantity is what's important on a fan page. If you have 10,000 likes from a gig on Fiverr or scrape 100,000 profiles to trick users into liking your page, you'll have a fan page with no true fan base.

    The whole point of facebook is to have a targeted audience that actually is engaged with your posts and whatever site/business/product/interest you are promoting.

    I'd rather have a fanpage with 1000 fans that engage in my content, speak the language of my fanpage and most importantly share it on their pages to drive more people that are interested in my pages to like it as well.

    Targeted ads are the only way that you are going to get fans quickly who are targeted and will help your page grow. A fanpage that has 100,000 likes with no interaction is like a ghost town. A page that has 20,000 likes from real fans is a community.

    I would like to add this page that I found which is very useful in creating engaging statuses. Besides driving targeted ads to your page, it is important that each of your posts makes your fans want to engage with your page. Likes, comments and shares are the best way to get more new fans to your page without paying for the likes.

    The only way you are going to get likes, comments and shares is to post something that will make fans want to engage in your page. When they engage, you get more eyes on your content and thus more likes of high quality.

    My hyperlocal sports blog has only 1300 fans so far (took 2 months via a Facebook campaign) but that fan base, although considered "small" by many, drives upwards of 20K pageviews per month to my website each month during the season.

    I can't figure out why people would want 100k fans who have NO interest in their page :confused:

  • Your post should be inspired and consistent, be on right time according to your business and use eye catching attractive images. And your content should be short i.e. 100 to 150 characters
