I Have A FB Fan Page... Now what?

Hi! Greeting from Hong Kong

I have a facebook fan page with 434 likes where I post video game humor picture/video/text posts.

I also have the domain name purchased with this.

At first this started of as a hobby because which nerd doesn't like video game humor?

However, I would love to hear some input on this as to how I could monetize this little hobby of mine?

Thank you guys so much!

Jeffery

Maybe you should try build your fanbase up a bit before monetizing it.
Implementing forms of monetization so early may not be as profitable in the long-run.

Thank you! You're advice is noted! I'm aiming to gain at least 1-2k likes before I monetize anything!

I would just like to know some ways in which I should approach monetization of this niche. This way I could maybe work on my website WHILE the fan page is gaining likes

I don't know if you could really make money from this audience. Since they are merely looking for free jokes, they have no buying intention.

If I were you I would make a free ebook or video coarse that has some useful information about maybe, 10 funniest gamer jokes, or something like that. I am not in this niche so I am not sure what your offer would be I am just throwing out ideas. Anyway connect that landing page to your facebook page and drive people to that to get their email address. Once you have done that you can then start marketing new games that come out, video game cheats, how to level up on certain video games, etc...
That is my two cents worth. Hope this helps.

Interact with you new found audience "daily". Provide them games, images, humor, stories, challenges and everything in between. Then start monetizing. They will enjoy buying the T shirts and or completing your many CPA offers.

Add a tab to the page that has a squeeze page on it, or better yet a contest. Once or twice a month give away something video game related. Run an ad to this tab and collect targeted emails when they opt in. Build up a list and send more humor , useful posts etc. Every so often send your list a CPC or CPA affiliate offer.

You should have them subscribe to your email newsletter and use an autoresponder to do the grunt work for you. You can make sales directly from your fan page, but i prefer old fashioned and reliable ways of making money. ie: email marketing.

Keep growing it and engage them with related video game humor.
