Can we convert 3% of 48000 targeted people

We want to run Facebook ad for around $150 worth gift give away and our targeted peoples are around 48000 and was wondering what is the best way to get least 3% of those people to register with our site? Only way to join this competition is they have to register with our site. Can we convert least 3% of 48000 people. Any comment on this one from who tried something like this before?

For $150 you can easily target 48,000 people.

    Whats your target group? (country/age/interests/gender)

I have had some good FB results myself:

Please explain a bit more and I might be able to help

i have a new dating site and i want to get some local females to get register so i want to run facebook ads and offer like make up or shopping gift cards worth $150 so i targeted only a local city, females, age 20 to 40, single, interested in man and it will be cpm ad. I think my budget will be around $50 to $75 and cpm will cost me between $0.03 to $0.64 and i am thinking of bidding $0.06 for start

Looks like you have a good view of your target group.

Make sure your ad (image & text) are optimized through testing.

I'd suggest you to use optimized CPM (it will make sure you get most clicks for budget as FB knows exactly who clicks on ads and who does not)

if the offer is targeted, you can definitely convert over 3%. if it's not, then it'll be difficult

It is not hard to convert that many, as long as they are targeted.

As for the Facebook blocking - there are sites that can help you get past that.

One such is at Badass Button

It lets you put the website on, and it does website masking.

I know there are a few out there - that is the one that I use.

    Hope it helps!

So basically your thinking that you will target 48000 people and get a 3% conversion so that means you will get 1440 people to sign up for the site right? Well sorry to be the bearer of bad news but here is whats most likely going to happen.

    1) Facebook wont show the ad to the entire target market, most likely around 30,000 people will see the ad.

    2) Of those 30,000 people that see the ad, many of them will have to see it several times before they click it, many will never click it at all. In the end you will get around 1-2% of the people to click the ad. If the ad is very food you might get 3%

    3) Just because people click the ad does not mean they will sign up for the site. If your lucky you will get 20% of the people who click the ad to actually sign up for the site. Most will just bounce.

    4) Summery, I would expect that you will get around 120-150 site users, if you got as many as 200 I would consider that above average.

Thanks for your advice. I was expecting to get around 50 to 70 members to be honest and was trying to find out if i can achieve to 3% but if i get like 100 - 120 members wowow thats huge success for me because the way i made my plan 60-70 member will help me to make over $1500 and then I can spend that $1500 to advertise my site again and convert that $1500 to $5000+ but this is only my dream lol. Also If i target right people and create professional design theme (which I am working on still) and full detailed landing page for Facebook ads and easy registration page (which will take less than 1 min) I am sure many people will register. At the end of they girls loves popular brands like Clinique, L'Oreal, Avon etc. If I offer $75 gift card for each person and pick 3 winners I am sure they will sign up. Also at the end of the day I am not bothered if they log on to my site or not after they registered. Once they registered they will help me to make more money. Because you know what we (man) are like when we see fit girls lol Think a website with 3000k women members means you have another 10000k man members
