Facebook Advertising Frequency

So I've decided to run a 1 month long facebook ad campaign for my children's boutique shop to increase traffic and conversion rates.

I've set a daily budget of $10.

I've been advertising for a target audience of females who are between the ages of 22-40, who are interested in babycenter, toys r us, huggies, pampers etc and who are members of families with children.

I've chosen 6 different product images (with models) that I thought were attractive and only one got the most attention so I paused the rest.

At this point I'd like to clarify that I'm running the ad 24/7, with no specific timing in mind.

Can anyone who is experienced with FB ads tell me if it makes any difference whether I run the ads 24/7 or limit it to 2-3 hours of timing of my choosing? Say, early afternoons on weekdays for example?

    Hey Anisa,

For which objective you are running Facebook ads? i.e. Clicks to Website, Website conversions, Page post engagement or to get more page likes out of these what is your main objective?

    Thanks

Certain times of day definitely work better than others. For example, running pictures of good looking people during late night hours often gets clicks from people that have much different intentions than people that are online during the day.

That said, the audience is the most important factor. If you want the best results, having ten $1/day campaigns all targeted to different audiences using 6 to 20+ running ads will generally get much more traffic for a lower cost than having one $10/day campaign with one ad regardless of the hours the ads are running.

If you want conversions, make sure to send people straight to a landing page on the website and only use desktop traffic. Mobile users on Facebook will rarely buy a product. Also, you want to unlink the Facebook page because people will visit the Facebook page often instead of going to the website and conversions often drop to near 0 for what you are advertising if this happens.

What do you mean by different audiences? Do you mean different variables inside target group or changing the target group completely like adding men and women instead of just women?

I'm currently running them to generate traffic to my website so Website Clicks.

In the past, Ive tried both fb page likes and conversions to see if they helped but unfortunately we did not get any conversions that way.

Good news is I've had 2 people make orders in the past 4 days and thats a good sign.
