You can search this forum, select any social media, like facebook, and use search feature
Read some threads then implement, i will recommend to start with one social site master it and then move forward

But remember to have strict schedule of reading, learning and implementing, this is the main thing that will make difference whether you will be successful or not

Take some time for reading and learning and spend most of your time in implementing and experimenting,

Basically you can learn the social media by testing it, so try new ads in facebook, twitter etc and check the test result and make the necessary change to increase the result

  Almost every week I notice some changes in some of the social media sites. Some of them are slight and some are really valuable. The main part of books on smm has the basis which you will need for future, but the details stale so quickly that you only to have constantly working with it to be aware of all the changes and details.

Sign up for any of the social media sites out there and just do it. Don't market anything first. Just make an account, make friends, and interact with people. Doing it is the best way to learn
