Youtube Copyright Notice - help needed

Hi, I received a Copyright notice on my video posted few days before. The copyright issue claimed is sound from black & white(70's ) movie but fact is there is no music on the background of video but some noise and sounds by people and machines. I have option to Acknowledge or Dispute. I am willing to go for dispute but want suggestions from you guys. Please help and guide. There is also an option which I do not understand like "To learn more about how claims impact your videos click here." thx

If you are a partner I would dispute it. It takes forever before you will be able to monetize it. And move on to the next video. It happens. It's content ID bots that sniff videos for copyright material but its just a bot and lately they've been really messing up.

If you think it is worth the effort dispute it, otherwise move on and make another with your own soundtrack.

You will only lose if there is someone to dispute it. In your case there isn't anyone because random background nose triggered the filters on accident.

Further more the filter triggering your video that may contain copyrighted material has only been blocked from being monetized with youtube ad. It doesn't mean someone has actually filed a claim against you.

I've never lost a dispute so I'm not sure. YOu get so many strikes against your account. eventually I think they fall off.

I have a karaoke video channel that has about 17 claimed videos.. Obviously I didn't dispute them. I guess you can say that channel is at risk. I should also mention this channel isn't youtube partner monetized. But what ended up happening is those videos are still on my account but monetized with the person who claimed the content ads.

thank you friends. I disputed it and claim is released.

It is saying user xxxxxxx has release claim. I am not sure if it was claimed by user or automated bot.

        Anyway, thanks again

If its not then dispute it. They mismatch things all the time.

YouTube mismatches my royalty free music tracks occasionally and the system is just wrong.

The company on the other end usually releases the claim.

Good you had it resolved. I have seen multiple cases like these, it seems like their automated system is not working the way it should be...
