NFL Fan Pages worth?

Hello,
I started a couple NFL fan pages on Facebook. I used Facebook to generate all the likes (wasn't cheap). I'm just wondering what they would be worth.

I am posting 3 times a day and each has about 15,000 likes. Anyone know what they would be worth? I'm just curious, haven't made up my mind about selling them.

Regards,

  • I am interested to see what others reply on this. I personally would look at other similar pages and see how they are monetizing them to get an idea of potential offers/income from the pages.
  • With only three games left in the season I'd keep them and try to build them up more. Then sell them somewhere in early to mid summer.

    • yes I agree. But I'm just trying to get a ballpark figure on what they are worth
  • It's against terms to sell a Facebook fan page. In fact, if you do sell and they find out (which I've heard of crazy scenarios) the buyer could get the account banned and request a refund.

    Anyways, just a heads up.

    • yes, I realize that. But there are people looking to buy fan pages. I'm just curious as to the worth of my pages.

  • I am not agree with his thoughts may be it possible some times but not always because there are many marketers who make fan page get thousands of likes and then sell it and no complaint about this kind of strategies as he said.

This Statement of Rights and Responsibilities ("Statement," "Terms," or "SRR") derives from the Facebook Principles, and is our terms of service that governs our relationship with users and others who interact with Facebook. By using or accessing Facebook, you agree to this Statement, as updated from time to time in accordance with Section 14 below. Additionally, you will find resources at the end of this document that help you understand how Facebook works.

    • How can you not agree if it's against the terms..

      It's a fact.

Trust me.. I've seen many pages reported for considering such things. You might think you can just get around things, but if it's against the terms you shouldn't even be considering it and focus on #RCS.. just saying.

  • everyone understands it is not legal to sell your Facebook fan page. It is against the terms. But it happens.. People want to buy others fan pages
  • I'm afraid that $100 per 1,000 likes is far from the real price of the fanpage. Better wait for next season and monetize the page hard. Even with super targeted fans, you could hardly get more than $80-150 for the whole page.

If I was you, I would only focus on growing the page. Why don't you try some betting offers before the last 3 games? If you need help with that PM me, maybe it could be well monetized.

    Cheers!

    • you cannot run betting offers on Facebook
  • It is against Facebook TOS to sell a page but everyone does it. Unless to send a "Feedback" to Facebook stating that you are going to sell your page there is no way you are going to be banned.

As far as your page value.. Do you get 15,000 likes per post or do you have 15,000 likes per page?

Usually when I buy pages (Yes I do) I look at the revenue first. If you have zero revenue it is kind of hard to ask for ALOT of money. In my opinion, There is only three thing that is valuable to a Fan page

1- The revenue coming out of it.
2- The engagement (Active users on the Fan page)
3- The number of US/UK/CAN/Australian fans

P.S : To me, a 15k Fan page is practically worthless (Sorry) I would pay between 50-80 bucks depending on the engagement from the fans
  • okay thanks for the feedback. Not sure why the terms were mentioned, so many times. But sure
