FB: Sharing competitor's posts

Hi everyone,

I have a blog and on my facebook page I like to share posts from people that write on the same topic as me (apart from sharing a lot of my own stuff).

Personally, I think this helps me to connect with my competitors and help my fans see valuable thinks about my niche.

Do you think this could hurt me in some way? That I'm sending my 'competitors' (who knows future working relationships) facebook likes/fans?

Interested in your experiences about this.

Make sure you dont send your fans to your competitors fan pages or sites. I would also suggest to focus more on creating your own posts and share it with your fans rather than someone else.
Build a community of your own and you can only do it when you have interesting posts of your own.

I do share my own posts, I thought maybe sharing posts by others would make me a fan page people would likely to stick to because they 'have it all' at my fb page anyways..

Personally I wouldnt as the only thing it could do would be to drive people away from your page, and why would you want to do that?
