Google Error: Alert icon you need Adobe Flash Player to watch this video

Hi Warriors,

Does anyone know why this is happening? I have a YouTube video uploaded January 9th of this year that has over 3000 views, numerous backlinks, comments, etc. It's indexed in Google, however in Google search the description displays my title and then the message 'Alert icon you need Adobe Flash Player to watch this video' Instead of my YouTube video description text.

Does anyone know why this is happening? I changed the description in YouTube, but the same message displays in Google search. The only thing I can think of is maybe it's the video format? I rendered it in Camtasia Studio 8.0.1 as HD MP4 Only (up to 720p) / 640 x 350 editing dimensions / Format MP4 Video.

Any Help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Andie

I too have been having this problem recently, even after updating my Adobe.

It seems to coincide with the latest Internet Explorer update (at least with me) so I have been using Firefox more and more, especially with sites like youtube and many others that simply do not work properly in IE.

I had that same thought too, but it seems to be the same in every browser, I've tried Chrome, FireFox, IE, and even on different computers and on IPad as well. The video plays just fine in all of them, but just in Google Search Results is where it displays this message instead of actual content from my video description. I'm starting to think it maybe the format the video was rendered in. I made two different video's out of sections of that main one but rendered them in another format, and they both are indexed correctly, no adobe message.

I'm stumped with this one, and not sure what to do now since I already have so many backlinks and views, I hate the thought of delete it and start over, but even though it's indexed it's still way back on page 50+ (and falling) because of this error message in the description.

Sorry, I did not read your initial post thoroughly before replying.

It almost looks like the initial screen capture of the video is when IE was displaying the error - if they are updating the screen capture then it may not be your video but Adobe still causing the issue.

I just clicked on a couple of links to unrelated youtube videos and continue to get the Adobe error message so until the Adobe issue is resolved the error may continue to be displayed in the search results thus not a problem you can correct?
