Hi there,

what is the actual size of image in FB news feed ads?
I have a good FB news feed ads that says the image size
should be 403x403 pixels, however, I see that the actual size
in my Facebook news feed ads it is around 398x208 pixel.

So, I appreciate if someone can confirm this matter.
Thanks.

  • The size you should be uploading is, I believe, 600x225.

    400 x 150
    400 x 209
    400 x 400

    Page Post Link Ads
    100 x 72

    Page Post Photo Ads
    120 x 120

  • Hi,

This is what Face Book says.

“ For all ads, the best size image to upload is 1200x627 pixels, and we recommend a minimum width of 600 pixels for images appearing in News Feed”

    Hope it helps you.

  • Dark posts (if you want to use them on the News Feed) should be:

    592 by 290

  • You should always maintain 4:3 aspect ratio for images .

  • I generally upload 600x315 if it is going to be a News Feed only ad. I saw that number somewhere in Facebook's ad guidelines, and they look perfectly fine at that size, so give that one a shot.

  • I have been having a tough time with this area myself, I have the right specs but it will not go through.
The new size is 1200 by 628 for news feed.
  • Depends whether it's desktop or mobile. Jon loomer has some great infographics here: All Facebook Image Dimensions: Timeline, Posts, Ads [Infographic] - Jon Loomer Digital
