Today I have achieved something unique in my facebook advertising career - I don't need to explain what that was, as you can see above.

These results were achieved targeting various countries - IN/PK/ID/US/DE/FR/JP
I was able to target the exact right audience for my target group.

Here are some steps you can take to achieve the same succes!
Let's say you are in the weight-loss for women industry. ~ Here are the steps to follow.

1. Google 'Weightloss for Women'
2. Copy url of #1 ranked website - womenshealthmag.com
3. Quantcast - https://www.quantcast.com/womensheal...com?country=US - see the exact age/sex for US visitors!
4. Do they have visitors from other countries? - YEP - https://www.quantcast.com/womensheal...=US#!countries
5. What are the top cities to target? - https://www.quantcast.com/womensheal...try=US#!cities

This gives you an EXACT overview of your target audience - all you need to do now is testing your ads! - Sponsored stories work best, but are a bit more expensive.

any info on the quality of traffic? with the like farms in these developing countries, i'd be hesitant to purchase traffic from facebook...

  This depends on your niche but with a solid/tested landing-page you should be able to reach any goal you have for your traffic - leads/sales. From my own experience I can say this traffic is about 50% less valuable than organic traffic, and about 25% less than adwords, but still A LOT better than just buying traffic or link/video spamming

This will only work in niches with enough traffic to have Quantcast results. Many sites, that are first in search simply will not have enough data to display, unless the site is in the Quantified program. However, the technique makes total sense for ad targeting.

I see you have targeted a lot of countries. Do you think translating the ads into their mother tongue would increase the click-through rate?

I have not yet sent out any sales mails.

Do you have some data to back this up?

(I know it's true, but I'd like to have a look at numbers, too). Did you use translation services for this? I guess not, considering you have stated that you have invested $0.39 in your post title.

I have been doing this for a while now. I pay like a dollar a day. I get a LOT of hits, but not really getting anyone joining the site. Though I can see many come back over and over again to read what we post. Then again we run a forum. So it does REALLY help when people also join and participate!
