Hi guys...

Looking for a bit of advice or guidance...

I'm going to be starting a little journey of building an email list through FB ads shortly...

I'm actually going to be promoting a webinar, so looking at generating optins to the webinar...

Anyone had any experience with this? Or know of a course which outlines how best to do this? Im looking to optimise to get the most number of optins for the lowest $ per optin too...

My model will be:

FB Ads >> Opt ins for webinar >> Webinar >> Sell product within webinar >> Follow up with the ones who didnt purchase, or didnt attend >> Rinse & repeat

Would LOVE a second opinion, or some guidance?

FB ads is one of the best ways to build a list, if you do it the right way. Your model looks solid, but before u move to any model, you must determine your audience. Facebook's in-built audience editor is far from accurate, it is essential for your campaign to form a custom audience, which will have exactly the criteria you need for your offer to convert.

  The choice of squeeze page you use is also key. LeadPages seems to be one of the favorite since you can sort by conversion. Custom audiences can produce great results but they can also take a lot of time to create if you have not done them before and then they can sometimes be a bid disappointment for ROI. For getting started, making a great squeeze page, making sure to show the ads on the desktop only if you are using an app in a Facebook page to do it and trying a lot of different audiences should work well for you to see what works the best.

The idea of fan pages work too and so is webinar. Then again what your visitors are optin in for matters. If its what captivate their attention then you shouldn't have problem getting a good amount of sign ups

  There is a little known, but highly effective way to target leads form FB. Better yet, it's free to do except for your time. The time investment itself isn't long but the patience to do it consistently daily until it snowballs is. Those who do it, however, enjoy great success funneling targeted leads into their business daily

Try create fanpage with target audience, make a tab (like Video, Contest,...) and insert opt-in into the tab
