Retweet communities?

Hey all,

I run a Twitter page where I share images from across the web (all in the public domain for legal reasons). I've got a small following (1,200ish), but it's fairly engaged.

I've been trying to think of unique ways to gain more traffic and I wanted to propose an idea and see if it exists out there right now. Are there any services where, say, I can Retweet someone else's post / image on Twitter and get 1 Retweet credit where someone with =+ followers as mine will Retweet my posts?Some sort of Retweet community is ideal. I've got no problem RTing other people's posts, and it seems like a good idea to me.

Do these exist?

    Not sure if you have heard of this site but the site is justretweet.com.
    It's a pretty cool site where you can build up credit by promoting other people's tweets and then when you have built up enough, you can send your own out.
    I really like it and it is not hard to build up credit. They allow you to send 1tweet a day but if is a good tweet and others decide to share it, then it can be pretty powerful.

    • I took a look at the website, and it looks like it's mostly tailored towards blogs / ebooks and those types of posts.

      Ideally, I'd like to get into a network of other image sharing pages online and RT them, have them RT me, etc. I suppose the best way to do that would be just reaching out to them directly?
