Honestly you can post the best content in the world but if no one knows about your page then it does not matter. You really have to spend a couple bucks on ads or promoted posts to get yourself started.

Two methods that I know to get free facebook likes:
1. Try joining facebook groups that are in your niche and then start sharing few posts with everyone else.
Keep in mind do not spam the group with your posts and also gain trust by interacting with others and providing quality content.
2. Go to other pages in your niche and start contributing. Remember to comment and like as your page not your profile so people can check out your page.

Trick #1: Take advantage of a breaking news story. For example, if there is a celebrity death, you can create a RIP page for them. People will naturally find it and join (I don't recommend posting ads on these, make sure you're respectful, however you can use this strategy to gain a lot of fans in one area, and subtly move them to your other pages.) I have friends who have done this and gotten over 100k fans in a matter of days following the unfortunate passing of celebrities.

You can also make pages around natural disasters called "Pray for Victims of ______" (insert natural disaster in blank). Again, it would be unwise and disrespectful to advertise on these pages, but you can subtly get them to sign up for your actual money makin' pages, and you'd have a large audience none the less.

Trick #2: Create a page around a common interest people have, like pizza, soccer, football, scrapbooking, etc. Call it "I Love (insert common interest here)" or "________ Rocks!" People will naturally find it and join over time. A good example of this is the page "I ******* Love Science" with almost 10 million fans.

Trick #3: Create a page and post a viral picture to it. A good example of this is a picture with someone holding a sign saying "If this picture gets 100,000 likes, then (enter reason for getting 100,000 likes here)" For example the sign could say "If this picture gets 100,000 likes then my mom will stop smoking. These are definitely overplayed pictures these days, but get creative because it's possible! I've posted pictures to pages with barely 1,000 fans and got over 1m likes!!

Join like minded groups and share your facebook page with them, assuming there's some content to what you are trying to spread it should grow organically.

best way is contests, and just ask them to like and share stuff. random captions works good if you can find something related to your page.

Make your page attractive, Make it look beautiful and you will see people liking it.

First thing off, you got to have to make all the stops, that means complete profile etc.
