Best niches for social media? Any Help Appreciated!

SOCIAL NETWORKS

Hey Guys,

I was recently reading an article on lazyassstoner.com about building up quite a decent sized following on Tumblr sites and then redirecting them to your website, because of the theme of his website he chose a page on Marijuana which was very obviously easy to build up a big following, although I'm really not too sure how he planned to monetize it to be honest.

But what I am trying to come up with is a profitable niche that will go well with social media ie people will share the pictures, follow the blog etc

I hope this makes sense. If anyone understands what I am talking about and would like to put up some suggestions it would be most appreciated!

The only thing I could really think of so far was Funny sort of meme style tshirts (I figure if you pick ones with funny enough picture they would be shared the same as meme pictures)

Maybe some sort of dating type niche. For example, pretty girls, get re blogged a lot, and of course most of them would be men who like pretty girls. Most of these men obviously want to get these types of women, that's why they are subscribed to the channel.

It can work the opposite with women of model type men pictures. I've noticed that text on the pictures work really well too. Like a popular quote about love, dating, ect. Then maybe you can add a link to an affiliate offer occasionally so you won't seem spammy.

Of course this hasn't been tested, which is the only real way to know if this would work.

This can also work with YouTube. If you notice the Makeup type videos of pretty girls, they get tons of subscribers. Pretty girls have this gift on YouTube, to get a bunch of likes, shares, ect.

Practically any videos with a pretty girl can get tons of subscribers. Especially if she is good at being provocative, while keeping it PG to increase the audience. The incentive on YouTube is if the channel gets big enough, you can make a great income off Google Ad sense.

I've thought of hiring a girl myself to make videos. But haven't taken the initiative, but I have a gut feeling it would grow in the millions of views. But there is only one way to find out, and that's testing. If any girl is reading this, take action on this, especially if you are decent looking.

I just woke up 30 seconds ago so my brains foggy. But here's my brainstorming session nevertheless.

Try this exercise...

Walk through a random Mall in America.

Select 100 people.

Would at least 50% of those people be interested in whatever niche you're talking about?

Then it's a social media winner.
