should i buy some followerers on fiverr?

i see the ads for followers/facebook likes all the time, and i recently started a new fan page for a business i'm promoting. so basically, this fan page has absolutely nothing on it accept a logo / banner and a few likes from my own family and associates. do you think buying likes/followers impacts the success of the campaign just so people see people already engaged on the page? also, any tips on how much content i should post on the fan page prior to lauching a paid campaign? thanks.

It will help the image of your fanpage initially. But visitors are smarter now, they will notice that no one engages with your posts so it can only mean two things:
    1. likes are fake
    2. your content is bad that no one wants to engage with you

Either way it's a negative vibe. This can negatively impact a new visitor seeing a whole bunch of likes and a dead page.

If you're going to promote your page through FB ads then don't worry about the fake likes because you will soon have enough likes with real ppl who will engage with your content.

When I start a new page I usually put up 5 posts, mixture of pics and video posts since they tend to have the highest reach. Once you launch the campaign you have to keep posting regularly. I've dealt with wide variety of niches and I find that I strike a good balance in FB edgerank, increase organic likes with least amount of dislikes with 4 posts a day with 2 hr space between them through out the day. If your niche is more passionate and fans don't mind then I have even put up as much as 15 posts a day.

    Hope this helps. Cheers.

Thanks i really appreciate the advise, the point was not to have "good followers," if i was to do it, it was more so to pad the stats so people incoming would see perceived interests... but i'll keep it natural, i have good content to post so that shouldnt be a problem. thanks guys

I've read some twitter marketing folks who've said you buy the fake followers on Fiverr just to build momentum, not as your end goal. On FB for example you need a certain # of followers to be able to activate certain features. so, you keep marketing and following others and posting your posts and tweets, but use the fakes as a base. Haven't tried it myself but thought I'd pass it along FWIW.

Yes, I just did this again with FB. For a $5 Fiverr gig, I got almost 2,000 followers to jump start gaining real followers. The Fiverr gig I use is a guy based in the USA who does this by sending traffic attracting followers. Most people want to Like what is perceived to be popular or trending. Buying ads to cultivate followers doesn't always result in getting followers if you don't already have a base as mentioned above. Beyond this jump start period, I would not advocate buying FB followers.

I have warned people about this quite a few times now. Fiverr have been pumping out likes for ages and at first this was a real cheap way to get a kick start for your followers (this is what you should be buying followers for).

However let me warn you all, facebook, twitter, youtube, and the others are catching up too, are cracking down on automated bot accounts (this is what fiverr uses - how do you think they provide it so cheap for so many followers?)

The amount of banned accounts is on the rise, and a large porpotion of these are due to use of services that breach facebook's terms and conditions. They have upgraded their security software which is now starting to detect use of these fake accounts and let me tell you, after months and months of hard working crafting your facebook or twitter page - for it to get banned is soul destroying.

I am not against the use of buying facebook likes and followers, as these do provide a great kick start to your fan page, and I have used the method successfully in my last 3 campaigns along with a lot of other genuine techniques and I can tell you that it will help increase the amount of your organic followers more quickly.

Also fiverr are not the only culprits, many of the social media sites that offer these services, are using the same bots, or simply outsourcing to fiverr! And it's virtually impossible to find out until you've purchased and began recieving your followers.

$5 is a ridiculous price for this many followers and it definately is too good to be true. For 5000 followers that are safe, real accounts, unique ip addresses and are actually being sourced by advertising methods rather than bots will cost you in region of $60-$100, which in my opinion is still pretty good value.

My last 3 campaigns I have used Fans Blaster HQ and you will tell the difference in the quality, not all but a fair amount of the followers they provide will actually interact with your fanpage rather than sit their like an idol drone. However don't expect them to all start buying your products, there is nothing better than organic traffic, whether your talking about your website, your facebook or twitter page. Organic traffic rules all. My first campaign has been running for about 4 months now and I used 5000 followers (actually got about 6000) from their site, and this has sinced increased to 13,000 followers - of course not without some hard work put in from myself. But the point I make is use the services to kick start your business and not expect a quick win!

          Stay safe, avoid fiverr.

In my experience and IMHO, for facebook better you using facebook ads to increase your likers and for twitter better you give great tweet content plus interaction with people who have many followers (public figure, author, etc) and followers will follow you automatic. Btw all will useless also if you haven't great content.

Dont buy backlinks or social shares or followers via fiverr. Only if its through social media syndication, but you have to examine the company used to syndicate first.

In my opinion do not go for fake twitter followers. They will not stay forever. Will not give you a single $ benefit. Not even help you on SEO. Just follow the standard rules and increase followers. There are lots of companies out there who can add targeted followers in your profile if you want to spend some$ for the followers. Try to get the targeted followers from them. It's better to having 5000 Targeted followers than 50K fake followers.
The same suggestions are for Facebook likes also :-)

Fake/bought likes are easy to spot on business pages and cause more damage than good. A company I worked for bought 3000 facebook likes as a starting point and its not hard to spot the fake when a post or picture gets 1 or 2 likes at best. The top line of 3,100 likes, 4 people talking about this is a slight giveaway and didnt give the impression wanted

I would never buy fake followers, likes, and all that sort of stuff. Concentrate on becoming great at your chosen field and it won't be necessary.

      I would say it depends very much on what you try to achieve. It's quiet obviously that the bought likes are fakes and they will not give you any interaction on your Facebook page. As a temporary measure to get started, it might be worth considering, but;

      * Don't buy 100K likes, go for a small amount like 500 or 1000
      * Make sure you have a solid plan for boosting the amount of real likes, right from the start, so you will outnumber the fake likes fast.

If you don't outnumber your fake likes with real likes rather fast, the fake likes might get back at you. A FB page with 5K likes and no user interaction just don't look very good.

This whole topic is rather silly, why do we even
allow and entertain questions about stuff that
breaks the terms of service of other web sites
in order to gain some perceived monetary advantage?

When you take shortcuts in building a business
you're just building upon a foundation of sand.
It only takes a few waves and you're washed up and gone.

I don't recommend you doing this. Most often followers are fake - and even if they are not fake, they are usually not related to your niche/business. You better find other effective ways how to attract them. It might take you more time, but in long term, it will be more profitable...

Going in that route will bring you a few Ks of fans/likes but in 1 week or so will be reduced dramatically.

I believe its much better to have 100-200 active fans then 1 Million fake ones... because having 1 page with 1 Million Fans without any interaction will raise a red flag to me.

On nowadays is quite cheap to advertise in FB to get your targeted audience if you know how to do it.

    Regards,
