Facebook group notifications friends and admins

I have a lot of groups with about 20k members and of them, the biggest got a recent change:

the basic notification settings are not longer "friends only", but "friends an admins only" what is very nice as i can send out notifications to all members.

Anyone else had this change? I would also like to find out why this happened, so that i can change my other groups too.

    Its helping me out, because everything I as a admin post will lead to 25k people getting a notification! Normally just your friends get a notification.

      How many of your groups members are just auto posting though? I have a group and that's pretty much all the members do!

      I entertain myself by randomly banning people. haha

    Yeah. I have this change too. Facebook is slowly rolling it out to its users. It's very convenient.

    How big is your group? Do you have an idea why the choose your group?.

    I have 5 groups and it just changed in one, the biggest one.
