Facebook Ads Direct to Squeeze Page?

I'm looking to send traffic from Facebook ads direct to a squeeze page. Is it still possible now and is there anything I should look out for?

I Believe that you should advertise a post engagement that where you can link to your squeeze page.

Because you will get engagement on the post, shares, likes and a much cheaper price per Click or oCPM

For last but not least you also get Authority and Brand recognition.

I have tested the both scenarios and I believe the post engagement to me at least, gave me much more engagement and clicks.

Thanks, that sounds like a good idea.

Yeh I guess running tests on both strategies would be the best idea. With something like this you're running a numbers game.

Generally I feel facebook ads works best when you keep them on facebook, via a page or sponsored posts. Sponsoring posts about your squeeze page could be a good option.

        Hope this helps.

Waste of money. Facebook users aren't in buying mode. If you send them directly to a squeeze page you will see a huge bounce rate and very low conversions.

Far better to link them to quality, useful content where you have a chance to link them to your product—without directly promoting it too much—and capture their email.

It may seem counter-intuitive, but a lot of the time it's best to advertise subtly. By giving your visitors value you can create a relationship with them. Brand awareness will work better in the long-run than a "hammer over the head" approach.

On the whole, you get what you pay for.

Yes, it´s still possible, but your site has to have a privacy policy.

I would say it depends on what your squeeze page is about. Custom tab to content rich page to squeeze works well for me.

Yes, it's definitely possible... that is one of our CORE strategies is to drive traffic to a squeeze page to build the list. This works in ANY niche on FB... but if they don't approve your ad because of the squeeze page, or the ad itself... then you'll need to come up with different angles.

You could always iframe your squeeze page in a tab (several apps out there for this Thunderpenny, Woobox, STATIC HTML to name a few) on your facebook page. That works very well, because you never leave facebook and facebook seems to feel better about this. Also I have noticed higher CTR. I do this with a fangate for a like first before showing the squeeze and that gives me the like and the opt in in my case. I also use the download/Thank you landing page to promote a paid product and that has also increased conversions and helped to segment the freebie list from the buyer list.

Yes SSL is required. Most shared hosting have a shared SSL cert you can use for free. I have dedicated IP and SSL because I run membership sites. Sorry I forgot to mention the SSL earlier.

That's great but what reason is there for your prospect to leave their details as email after clicking your ad?

Engage your visitors on face book fan page and then keep sending them to your squeeze page.
It is cheaper to direct visitors to fan page from face book ads.
It is also advisable as most of the visitors converting as fans will also bring some fans to your page (as some of your content will keep sharing on their time lines and when they comment/likes posts on your page, that one is visible by their friends, that way you will get free fans.)

The Facebook algorithm keeps changing so the prices change, but I found that sending to a custom tab worked well price wise but i didn't get that many opt ins.
