Question About Facebook

Hey Guys,

I've been reading alot on facebook marketing and its just information overload atm. I'm just going to ask and maybe someone can help me out:


I want to promote gaming offer and I am wonder whether direct linking is a bad idea for this?

Should I have the site redirect to offer with the needed scripts for the offer?

Can I redirect a from a blank url with a geo script for the offer?

^^ Will facebook approve this or would I need to cloak?


Can anybody shed some light on this subject it is a bit overwhelming :S

    Hi MediaDon,
    Best answer for your situation is going by experiment. I would have done this. There are various ways you can make the test:
    1. Link a photo from your site or from the offer site then post it. Photo has tendency to receive more reach in most cases (but not ALL cases)
    2. You can try to add some text and then put the text
    3. You can try with link (so far the least effective in most cases BUT NOT ALL)
    See which one gets the highest reach and then copy the result on regular basis.
    Do not forget the other key techniques like post more than 10 / 12 times a day. Make it a mix of photo, video and text. Facebook loves anything interesting and engaging.
    You will have your answer. If FB doesn't like a anything of you they will not publish your post. Or even if they do it will be put off very quickly. They will not block your account.
    Once I wanted to post an AD in the copy there was 'Free' word - it was not published. I had to redesign the whole copy of that. If they are strict on the paid advertisement no wonder they will have some strict rules for normal post as well. So experiment is the best.

    I think it's best to send them to a landing page first where they can opt-in before sending them to the offer. This way, you're complying with Facebook guidelines while building a list as well.

    How can i increase the traffic from FB to my site??
    I have the page and i am posting there "https://www.facebook.com/vpssearchengine".
    but still i don't have good traffic..

      You should go with Facebook ads targeting FB pages which is similar to VPS, online OS or anything that you can extract user ID from those pages or groups using a software SLF (use Power Editor)

      You could join the group related to your business at facebook this would help you to bring traffic at your FB site.

    Are you going to use Facebook ads? If so, which gaming offer? Gamble? Video Games? There is an FB guidelines for your specific ad type: https://www.facebook.com/ad_guidelines.php

    What script? What offer? Do you mean discounts for your products or Claiming Offers? If so, you can use Facebook offer: https://www.facebook.com/help/offers
