FB: Special Characters in Sidebar adds

I've now been playing part-time detective for the last 2 days trying to figure out how on earth I get these special characters in the sidebar ads.

Facebook won't accept the ads for review if I put in those characters when I create the ad. Tried Powereditor, normal ads creator and Qwaya, with 0 success.

I see this advertising consistently and always with these special characters.

Can anyone give a tip?

    I know how to make them ►◄
    but if they don't approve it i doubt they ever will .
    Perhaps try to have an ad approved first and then edit it ?

      Yes you can try to create a headline without special characters then once its approved, try to edit it.
