    1.) You have a blog? If so, create an interesting article related to your product/site.
    2.) You have FB Fan page? If so, Find FB groups related to your FB



    3.) Post it to your FB fan page and to each group (make sure it's related to your post to avoid ban)

    1. Promote your website on relevant groups and pages only. They are like goldmine in terms of traffic.

    Social media now the best weapon to drive traffic. So far as I know every social media has some different technique to drive traffic.

    Pinterest: As you know most of Pinterest user are female. So if you want to drive traffic from Pinterest just try to post thing which like the female.

    Twitter: Twitter is very effective if you use #tag (#your keyword) in your post. Write interesting post with #tag and use URL shortner to short your URL. Follow same interested people, retweet and favorite their tweet.

    Google Plus: Use #tag, Use title in the first line of your post then give a line break and write others.

    Facebook: Make own facebook page and active on other group.

    Stay niche specific. Post in relevant groups using syndication(hootsuite,etc)

    Use hashtags in your post content (at least 3) then your post will be indexed under the relevant tag for searchers to find.

    Use ritetag.com to analyze how good your tags are in already used post and switch them if needed then repost post or tweet again. (Nice little trick for fb n twitter)

    I agree with darkcode1 except I would search for people who follow _ or people who joined certain groups deemed targeted...

    Especially on FB I found people respond better to reaching out and messaging rather than relentlessly posting/spamming groups or your timeline
