How to begin working in recently created social profiles for business?

Hi guys!

My new ecommerce site is ready to open and I would like to have presence in social networks so I created a profile in Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and Pinterest.

I sell products that are for women and in the clothes/fashion category.

I've heard very good opinions of Pinterest, and in my experience I think Facebook is not very good for getting sales (I think people only "like" stupid things like cute dogs photos and so on...).

The main problem I have is that I don't know how to begin working on these social networks...How do I get fans on Facebook? How to get followers in Twitter? And I don't know how to begin with Pinterest also... All accounts have 0 fans, followers right now...

I'm not sure if it is a good idea to open my ecommerce store with links to the business social profiles that have zero fans, maybe it will give the impression that my business is not good.... What do you think?

Any method to get targeted fans in an consistently way?

Thanks

I would personally not start with social as my main concern.

I'd focus on writing a couple of high quality blog posts for your own site, and promote them to other blogs / authorities in your niche. I'd spend even more time guest blogging. Not guest blogging to a bunch of no-name sites...requesting to guest post in major blogs in your niche. They need and want content, and that is the best way to drive free, targeted traffic to your site. Also, take a look a backlinko.com/ecommerce-seo for a really cool way to create links to your eCommerce site.

If you have resources, try paid ads.

For social, focus on Pinterest first...it's the proven leader in driving eCommerce sales among the top social sites.

I wouldn't worry about having links to your new social accounts on your site. Meaning, I would put them on your site now. You are who you are. Use the fact that you are new as part of your story...because you need a unique story to stand out. Take people on your journey with you.

For Twitter, you can grow your audience, with fairly targetted followeres, using a free service like Tweepi.com. Use it to follow the followers of other popular people in your niche. Start slow, at max 50 new followers per day, for a couple of weeks (or Twitter will suspend your account). You can then ramp it up steadily after that.

Facebook, I have not found an effective way to easily get targeted fans, other than by posting regularly...which I don't bother with, personally.

    Hope that helps.

      Thanks for your answer.

Maybe is a good idea to make posts in my Blog and then share the posts to the different social networks with Hootsuite.

Then, focuse in Pinterest and Twitter, and secondly in Facebook and Google Plus.

I'm thinking also in putting paid ads in Google (I've just read a Perry Marshall book called Advanced Google Adwords)

The main problem is how to make good blog posts... I don't know enough of my niche to make blog posts...And I don't want to copy posts from other blogs because maybe Google penalize me in the future....Any ideas?

If you're running out of content creating blog post, see Neil Patel's article about 15 Types of Content That Will Drive You More Traffic .

It helps me adding contents, new ideas, meme's on my blog post too.

I hope he can help you too.

Don't forget to create a plage for Facebook, community for G+ and your twitter account for your product.

look for a plugin that every time you publish a content, it also auto publish to those social media sites.
