Aargh! What's the deal with Facebook Ad approvals?

Hey folks,

I'm pretty new to online marketing from the point of view of list building to promote online products. I'm in real estate by day and have run plenty of Facebook ads to promote my business and client's homes. Never had any dramas with approvals.

So I thought I'd have a crack at promoting a squeeze page to build a list to sell some IM click bank products. Tried a few ad variations, but keep getting rejected with:

I tried scrapping the ads and rewriting to sound like I'm providing help to get offline businesses online, and changed the squeeze page text to suit. Still getting rejected

Is this new or has it always been this way? Just curious as a week ago, a good proportion of the ads I see in FB were IM related, now I don't see any.

I don't want to mess with this too much incase they ban me from advertising as I need it for my day job!

Delete the ad and create a new one. If you keep editing it, it will keep getting rejected for the same thing after its rejected once. A lot of the interns are lazy and don't know what they're doing so if they see your ad has been rejected once they will keep rejecting it without even looking at your new copy.

If that doesn't work, create the ad from a different FB account with your new creative.

This happened to me and I had to contact support because they kept giving me the same rejection notice despite my creative being completely different to what they were accusing it of saying. Im not sure if it was a glitch or lazy interns but I finally just deleted the ad and created a new one and the new one got approved.

  I don't believe Facebook will accept ads that link to Clickbank products anymore. Tried a few myself, all rejected, Clickbank the only common denominator.

That correct....Facebook does not accept clickbank links....I haven't tried it but maybe try cloaking if your determined
